I'd keep it very simple, unless you are happy to dump a ton of money into it. I've got an 89 RM250, which is now around 50% 1989 because a load of 89 parts are unobtainable, such as cranks, fork springs etc. I'm not particularly familiar with the 125 but it looks to share quite a lot with the 250 chassis wise. Depending on what you are used to riding, the suspension sucks, the brakes suck and on the 250 the gear box sucks. However I still love my 89 RM250, its turns incredibly well and is lovely and forgiving...

That last picture of the track (with the green grass) reminds me of what tracks did and should look like.

Webb has stood up to represent USA, over and over. Many times in less than ideal conditions, too. He doesn't cherry pick when it's convenient or beneficial. So he deserves a ton of respect. He's real, it's not just for show. I understand there is a financial side to it, a risk/reward also. But through Webb's whole career, he makes it known that he wants to go and he will do whatever the team needs. He deserves a lot of credit for that.

I was not a Cooper Webb fan at all, but when all the other riders were making excuses to not go, Webb stepped up to 450 and raced anyway , made them all look stupid, he got the memo about why you never say no. Then again he steps up to ride the 250 at Matterley Basin, having not ridden one for 6(?) years. You dont forget stuff like that.

I'll readily concede they can produce a bunch of stuff at impossible to beat prices, largely due to what we'd consider slave labor rates in the west. But, for example, are BYDs true equals to say, Teslas, in terms of their tech, at least as it pertains to motors/batteries? And will they run for 300K miles like any reasonably-maintained Toyota or Honda? Nothing I've experienced thus far would give me confidence that the answers to those questions are yes. I'm sure if neither fell and Jett wasn't hurt that a large % of people will say if Hunter won Jett gave it to him. It's like some don't believe any of Hunter's races beating Jett this year were genuine.
