At this point, Roczen is the only one out of those three that could entertain the podium riders though. I don’t see how adding those three to this “weak field” makes it not weak anymore.

The kid is special. The stats alone sound fake. Hes won every race hes ever raced at pala and lead every lap. Hes won every 450mx race hes ever raced except the one where they changed the track and he crashed. Were seriously watching the most complete mx/sx rider weve ever seen. Some ppl were doubting him coming into this race, but theres nothing up to this point that has ever shown hes beatable yet. Until proven otherwise hes the guy.

Chase looks totally different when Jett isn’t there. I don’t mean that Jett is in his head; I mean without Jett in the picture Chase knows he can ride at a “safe” level and get the job done against anyone else. When he has to catch/keep up with Jett he’s riding above his comfortable pace and makes mistakes. There’s a lot of evidence to support this. Chase’s other big problem, I believe, is that he sometimes makes poor race craft mistakes at critical times.

I would argue the look on Deegan's face and then response when the booing started points to a dude with a fragile ego. As for the apology, great he said it. No point in arguing the fact it wasn't even in his own words.
