Credit to Moto Bakin for the footage. Every single rider showed tons of class here. Really cool to see

Pretty clear statement from the other riders what they think of the situation and family antics.

Listen I'm fine with a little rubbin and bumpin during a championship run.

But you can't do that and then act like the everyone else should tip toe around you when you  on the other side of that incident. Deegan hasn't figured that part out yet.

I don’t understand why he’s crying. Not like he had a shot at the championship anyway.

Once again, people acting like Deegan did some horrible deed and stole food off of a starving child's plate.

He caught up to and passed Cole going for a win. Had Cole won, you crybabies would be laughing at Haiden talking about how his rookie teammate beat him again.  It's racing, and the entire point is to win.

Valuable lesson for Cole.

This is a very poor take.

He had a shot as long as he wasn’t mathematically eliminated. That’s an attitude that we need to see more often, not less. It’s refreshing to see a young guy wanting to fight til the end like this, instead of rolling over just because the odds may be stacked against them winning the title.

Haiden fought til the end, and ya all hate on him. It's laughable.

What?  I don’t think I’ve shown any hate towards Deegan. Your knee may be jerking high enough to break your jaw on that one.

"Don't leave the door open bro"

"Why'd you leave the door open like that?"

"Stop riding with ear plugs so you can hear when you're about to get booted"

"It's cool, I would have taken Deegan's offer too"

Davies is easy to like and try as I might, Deegan isn't. Part of me roots for him because he is a little different and I love watching him rise, but damn boy STFU with the stupid interviews.

All the guys who consoled Cole earned a new level of respect from me. The kid has many championships in his future, I think everyone sees that.

I think little Deegs sees it too.

I wonder if he thought he and Deegan were friends? That plus getting punted from 1st to 5th might be why he is upset. He is also a 17 year old rookie so still a teenager. They aren’t always in complete control of their emotions.

Please  provide footage of this 'punting ' that i keep hearing about.  I didn't  see any.

Deegan’s persona is worse than a full-term abortion on an elephant with a tweezers and a butter knife.  It’s exponentially worse than the broadcasting.  I could like the kid IF he kept his helmet on and put duct tape over his mouth.  Would make for interesting podium interviews.

Me too. He would know better than anyone else I can think of.

EDIT- I removed a bad joke at Savatgy's expense.

What situation?

That Cole left the door open and got block passed like has happened at every supercross since the beginning of the sport?

Sure, Deegan was a douche on the podium with his speech, but I don't see what that has to do with Cole Davies at all?  Did he single him out?

That pass was 100% acceptable for the win at a Supercross race.  If you disagree with that, sell your shit and go play pickleball cause you ain't tough enough for moto.

Damn, no wonder he was so composed in his interview, it must feel great to have a bunch of the sport's elder statesmen show their support. Next year when he wins a title this incident will seem so minor in retrospect.

I mean it is kinda minor, it was a fucking block pass for the Win of a Supercross race.

People are acting like this kid just lost the biggest championship of his career.

Fuck me.... Deegan brings out the emotions in people.

I didn't mean minor in terms of the pass, I meant minor in terms of Cole being so defeated about it, since clearly he was very affected by losing the race and a chance at the title. I agree the pass itself was not a big deal.

That was so far from a punt but it would have been a lot cooler if it had been. Seriously though. Deegan block passed him and Davies continue to ride over the top of the berm. Like he didn’t know that was coming. I would argue that chase’s block pass on coop was far more of a hit and both carried on like it didn’t happen.

Very cool of MotoBakin to not put funny voices over this. I saw this video earlier and fully expected for him to make fun of Davies for being upset. I feel bad for the kid but he has a VERY bright future ahead of him.
