if it hasn't been said, if i were team lawrence, i wouldnt want deegs there either. dude is gonna go wrecking ball* in an offseason race just to prove something and the golden bros (mirtl) don't wanna risk injury racing a sociopath for limited upside. *as a fan, more power to deegs for racing the way he does, but looking at it from the lawrence's camp POV, it would make sense. that said i don't like Mirtl at all, and i'm not defending them either, if this is accurate. now all the folks who don't wanna grok nuance downvote away.

The dude had some hardware removed, and his dad is acting like he's some new type of athlete. MC probably took a month off the bike for some extra curriculars and would be back to form the first day of riding as well.

I think the thing people have a problem with is Deegan acts like he’s above reproach. They live in a world we’re whatever they say in the moment is the truth. First he didn’t get hurt pre season Then he sprained his wrist but no surgery Then we see stitches Then we eventually find out he had surgery for a broken scaphoid. Then he absolutely wanted to race MXdN if picked Then Tomac backs out and he now has to get surgery to remove screws in his wrist. And needs to time to recover. It’s just tiring to follow it...
