Agents in other sports are regulated by the commissions and or the players unions. They don't let guys with purchased homeschool diplomas or GEDs manage their athletes like our sport does. Curious: Has there been more than one refiling? This talk about how there was going to be a police investigation that never materialized is rather strange given that they filed a civil suit. What is all this secrecy that the Lawrences are operating under? They filed a lawsuit that’s a matter of public record. I feel like I’m massively missing something. Courts move slowly, lawyers are expensive, and if it turns out that they filed a frivolous or malicious lawsuit, Mirtle will be awarded costs. This has the feeling of sober, competent legal professionals who are keeping their clients under control in public (hence the “secrecy”?) vs an angry, coked up, desperate man spiraling out of control.
