Id like to think our SX and MX here in the USA is on a bit bigger stage than in those countries you mentioned. Maybe thats why they jump for the chance to go to mxon while we have plenty of iconic tracks and races here to keep our time occupied? First off Barcia isnt a top 5 rider when people are healthy. Plessinger was doing fine in qualifying race till he had issues and i have no explanation for his riding on race day orher than what people who were there on the team have said about the weather and prep catching them off guard. I agree, but this year it seems very soft and rutty is even more of a problem for Tomac. Seems like maybe he's struggling with arm pump or bike setup on these tracks (flame on). But great riding by Ken today. Even a "comfy" Tomac would have been 2-2 today at best. Interesting Tomac only has one OA at Unadilla and it was in 2013 when he was ridiculously fast and dialled in on the Honda 250 for the 2nd half of the season.

Look supercross is more important than any other series/race on earth. Thats a fact. Its even more important for monster athletes to participate in it and MEC. Its not an excuse to not go. American riders get beat by musquin and roczen and still show up the next weekend. How many races have we lost at des nations and still show up? As far as misinformed, I pasted the direct response from NBC SN in the lower portion of my post. I contacted them, because my preset recordings after last weekend disappeared on My Dish. There were no broadcast listings in the guide, search or on NBC SN .com. The sport has taken the backseat to tittllywinks on all the networks to date, but at least aired and had reruns. Even the reruns are gone. If I watched some other sport it work be different. Even poker outrank MX/SX.
