Interesting. You are about the first guy I have heard that had that experience. Were your stock reeds toast, such that the new block refreshed? Did you run it with the stock spacer in or out?

Can you see the grain of the aluminum? If so, it's ano'd. Powder covers everything, including imperfections.

Nice build. You will love the DEP pipe. Don't bother with a VForce for that bike. The stock one is fine. Weird about the welds. I've not seen that before on any of the YZs I have had.
Long time ProTaper guy here. When they first came out, the sprockets and chain were made in Germany and wore like iron. Great stuff! Since then, they are made in Taiwan and the quality has suffered a little, though I still use them.
Might want to check with CamP, but I seem to recall him saying not to run the 927 with the 100LL. In my RM250, I am running 100LL with Motul 800T 40:1 170 main 45 pilot stock needle in #3 position air screw about 1 1/4 out That is with VForce Reeds and FMF pipe/silencer

Trying to get graphics from them is a challenge. I've had a "semi-custom" set ordered for about 10 weeks now. They told me there was a 4-6...
Not sure exactly how the "series sponsorships" work, but this just sounds like another case of MX Sports taking Go Pro's money and giving them what they want, versus doing what is good for the sport. I've said it many times...MX Sports is BAD for the sport.

Wiseco, Hinson and Barnett all make billet clutch baskets for the '06+ RM250. Unfortunately, none of these guys make a pressure plate or inner hub. I went with the Wiseco basket. Like Bruce said, ProX (part of Wiseco now???) makes the inner hib and pressure plate. As far as I know, they are OEM product that ProX acquires from ART...

Yeah, I think every year was a little different from '02-'05...'06+ is the same, I believe. I couldnt find inner hub or pressure plate for my '06, so I got new OEM ones and had them hard coated.
