He will have the red plate on for Saturdays first practice session. Defending champ gets the red plate at round 1 by default.

I don't see him losing the red plate all year.

Even though he dominated the field last year I am curious to see how things go this year. Obviously Webb, Musquin, and Cianciarulo are his biggest competition.

I think things will be interesting in the 450s as well between Dungey, Tomac, and Roczen. Sucks so bad that Canard is still out and Stewart cant race. Pourcel could be a nice mix up here and there but I don't see him in the top 3 at the end of the year unless one of the top 3 now gets injured.

Not taking anything away from Marvin, but I really think it's gonna be tough to take away Jmart's plate at all this season. Outdoors he is a badass...

I want Martin or Webb to win it but Musquin is on his game and seems to have found that extra level of fitness and tenacity

Hoping it's a good battle all year.

Shold be a fun season in both classes. I don't believe Martin will win the overall this year. He will definitely be a contender and certainly can win, but his competition should be stiffer this year even though Bagget moved up. Musquin is healthy, confident and racing, Webb is improved and more confident I believe, AC is healthy and back, and I also believe Bogle has improved.

The real question is how long until MM25 has the red plate. He's finally injury free and confident, this is his year.
