For a little more context about our fire department situation. A couple years ago a gay woman was assigned to be chief of the LA fire department. I have nothing against a gay woman, but was she really the most qualified person for the job? Or was she put in place because she is a gay female? We all know the answer to that as are seeing it happen everywhere. Well, she was elevated to her position, she started focusing on spending millions on diversity (hiring gays, transgenders, women, minorities) to make the fire department more "diverse", instead of focusing...

It's not that bad pain wise. My big fear of racing anymore is the "What ifs" Like what if I knock one of those fake hips out of my pelvis or snap that femur again, how's it going to break with all those screws in there, will it shatter like a fluorescent light bulb ? Then what ? I'm good with camping and trail riding in the desert and dual sporting. I know i could fuck it up doing that too but it's seems safer than coming up short on something or charging into the first corner with 15 other...

Seeing if anyone else was into spots car racing too. I have been going to the 24 hr race sense 06 every year except one. Great time and great value for your ticket, you get full garage access and can go anywhere in the property, any seat in the stands or infield. Those that like to camp/ motorhome/ party seem...

You can get a lower deductible with progressive. I have it at $250 for our auto and motorcycle policy for my wife and I. Haven’t had to make a claim, thankfully.

I have four (4) dirt bikes insured through USAA for a little over $200 annually. I think the deductible is $500 but that doesn't matter when you consider $35k in motorcycles that could be wiped out in one theft.

I have the same Progressive policy that just about everyone has. About $100 a year, $500 deductible. The only caveat that I didn't like and could not get around, they do not allow you to insure your bike for what you paid for it, just the current market value just like a car. Anybody buying a new bike in 2022 isn't exactly getting a deal, so that is why I cared, I paid MSRP+. I was willing to pay more to insure more, but there was no way to do that. So in the event of loss, you will be...

Thanks for the info, I will be getting the policy for sure, just got a 19 hr old 2021 YZF250 , and it is more money than I would like to see head into the city with some wheelie boys 😁, my only other question is with rates this cheap and bikes so expensive why isn’t everyone’s bike insured?...

Just get it. I’ve had to claim one, and it was worth it. With all the thefts, the deductible is a very minimal price to pay for losing something you worked hard for. Edit: Ive never had a problem with progressive. Two claims, one street and one dirt. Both went better than I expected.

I’m looking into real world experiences with insurance on stolen dirt bikes. I filled out a quote with Progressive yesterday and it appears that if I put comprehensive on the policy that my deductible for theft will be 500.00. The policy is less than 100.00 for the year. Has anyone had a claim of theft and was it handled well...

Good point, I agree. Some people are so blind/stupid that they leave because of the insane liberal policies and then wherever they end up the vote for the same tax and spend insanity. Control the votes of the city’s, control the whole state. Socialism is much more acceptable to city dwellers that use everything..public transportation, rail, lots of parks, museums, public...
California politicians are not shooting themselves in the feet. This is a strategy to get moderates to move out of state and shift red states to the left. Pay attention to Texas, it will be blue in 10-15. Austin, DFW, and Houston will swing the state regardless of how the smaller counties vote. That is what happened here in CA and starting to happen in Colorado.

Without the safety car, Lewis wins that race by 10 plus seconds, waving to the crowd at half speed just like Carmichael used to do on his last lap of many National races. The race director should have made a complete farce and red flagged it after he put Verstappen right behind Lewis, let Hamilton put on softs and see...

My review to the best of my ability. Ok. Finally got to ride it. Put about an hour on it at my local track. First off. I’m a 47 year old 230 lbs VET A rider. Been riding and racing since 1988. So. I’ve been around a while. First things first. No. I’m not too big for a 250F no matter what your friends say. I also have a 22 Honda 450. I have been off the bike since January due to a significant injury. This was my first ride back. Recent bikes I’ve ridden/raced. 2020 KTM 350 and 2021...

The bar has been raised and the top ten are brutally fast. I still think Coop will find a way to get more competitive than he is at the moment. It's in his dna.
