Thought I would post a follow-up in case anyone cares. I tried a pair of the Leatt 5.5's. Too narrow despite the Leatt's supposedly being one of the wider boots. Surprisingly it was actually worse for me than my Tech 7's. Unfortunately Leatt only makes their 5.5's up to size 13 which is what I tried. I also tried the Fox Instinct 2.0's in a size 13 and size 14. The size 13 was too tight. I took my first ride on my new bike last night and came away very impressed. How many other bikes come out of the crate with a GET ignition system and good handling with working spring forks and shock? I don’t like torx but then again that setup has to reduce the bike weight significantly. Gut feeling is this is basically a $$$ works edition as the production bike at a reasonable price.
