Unfortunately some of these media outlets are like the mainstream media, just looking for a way to get likes or followers. Instead of Trump Derangement Syndrome, they have MX Sports derangement syndrome.

So Mitchell Harrison is running 10th on a non factory Kawi. Beating 30 other riders, many not on a green bike. Maybe the KX isn't so bad? Over 30 seconds behind the leader halfway thru the moto, wtf? Maybe it's as simple as, he just can't handle the pace of the top guys on our tracks. I question his fitness as well. The bike set up may not be perfect but he should be faster, no question.

I'm all for everyone being nice to everybody but sometimes the burning desire to prove someone wrong is the strongest motivator. I've worked for people like that, key word "worked" in the past tense, but it's made me better at my job for more laid back employers and taught me not to sweat the small stuff people complain about all around me.

Most of Ohio is rural farms and livestock. Lexington, Kentucky isn’t that far from Cincinnati and Kentucky is horse country. Ohio is more about riding horses, competing in dressage, hunter jumper, etc not roping cows like in Texas.
Im not saying everybody is a “cowboy” but I literally grew up on a horse farm. We had 8 horses and boarded 30. My dad was a nationally known trainer for western pleasure and hunter jumper. I also raced with Aaron’s dad when he would come out to Dirt Country and do some MX. They say Aaron’s daughter rides horses...

He didn’t look enamored. It’s a new experience with people most never get to meet. The most famous people on earth. My wife gets to go to events like this due to her being an executive in the non-profit world. She gets donations from famous people. I don’t usually go to the big events but do meet some of the...

I think you mean Cincinnati is in Hamilton County. The town of Hamilton is in Butler County and has a lot of horses and tons of dairy cows. I know, I was from there and my Dad was a horse trainer and boarded around 35 horses. None of that matters, AP isn't saying he grew up roping cows. Maybe he...

I think I see the problem here 90% of people in this thread are in California. I live in NC and have family in Ohio and I've met more rednecks visiting Ohio than here in NC you go to any Ohio or NC off-road race and 80% of the dudes there are just like AP. I don't think he claims to be an actual cowboy but that's certainly more marketable than wearing a wife beater and camo hat and being the Supercross Redneck, I know tons of rednecks that yell yee-haw and talk about Dale Earnhardt.

AP is from Hamilton, Ohio or "Hamiltucky" as we called it when I lived in Cincinnati. I used to race with his dad Scott when he would come out and do some Amateur MX at places like Dirt Country. AP even mentioned the term "Hamiltucky" on the podium once. While he didn't grow up as a "Cowboy" he grew up...
