I sure love hearing that 2-stroke in the background every now and then. Good luck this weekend and all summer!

What's going on Vital Nation, My names Matt Burkeen and I'm back for another year of Pro Motocross on the YZ250 2 stroke, and this time we are set to do all 11 rounds for the season! I did a thread like this last year detailing my experiences and everyone seemed to be into it so figured I would do it again for this year and keep all of you guys along for the ride! I've actually been having nothing but problems pretty much this entire year with injuries, miscellaneous health issues, and disastrous sponsor predicaments but we have left...

Sx has 40,000+ fans every weekend. Plenty of different nationalities. And mostly, pretty good racing. Dont get me wrong, I really love mxgp (and am heavily involved with quite a few teams over the past decade), but it’s not always amazing. Talk to me after the Indonesian rounds when 11 people show up, racing isn’t great, a man made track (hopefully not in a hotel parking lot light Palembang was), and half the riders have food poisoning and are just riding around. AMA sx is the premier series, hence the reason why most of the top guys still want to...

My last moto injury was my last injury from moto. It was a pretty big hit that rattled the old melon. Again. So, at 60, I've decided that's it. I'm retiring in 5 years and I want my shit to work at least a little. I'm at the point that I enjoy wrenching for and supporting my son more than I like to ride. Besides, I can't do both anymore like I used to even just 5 years ago. And I'm fit: that's not it. So, I'm done, and comfortable with the decision. Many of my Vet moto friends get...

Please reach out to the engineering execs at Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. They have obviously overlooked the physics and will thank you for saving them millions in R&D.

This is pretty cool. Like I always say, zero-emission doesn't have to be electric. https://www.rideapart.com/news/667789/honda-kawasaki-suzuki-yamaha-hydr… On May 17, 2023, Japan’s Big Four motorcycle manufacturers announced a bold new plan to cooperatively develop hydrogen-powered motorcycle engines. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha executives all gathered at a Tokyo press conference to announce the formation of HySE, which stands for “Hydrogen Small Mobility and Engine Technology.” ...

Before... Picked this 1990 CR250 on OfferUp for $2k. I always liked the 1990 model better than the red/white 91. It looks kinda goofy to me with the white shrouds but loved JMB's bike during his first full time season in the US in 1990... Finished it yesterday. Just missing the pipe which is getting refurbed. Just a quick restoration (not a replica) with only the necessary done/changed to make a clean, safe and rideable vintage bike. Took me 5 weeks...

They did. I think the teams aren't spending the money like the promoters anticipated on riders and has taken it into their own hands buying talent for the series. The Tomac thing was cool. It was just for one race and didn't really mean much as far as the Championship was concerned. Purchasing talent for a single team of the riders choosing is just a little odd to me. Hopefully RWR is treating Joey well. He deserves it. I'm certain he would be racking up some podiums at this point in SX and MX could have gone well as well...

I thought Ricky's commentary on Tomac's injury and replay was well informed and compassionate. As much flak as he has taken on his broadcast, I think he did well tonite.
