Jeez thats thin.
Gonna be a good year for a privateer to score some points
Mav you forgot AC?
From what I heard on the interview today at the SX I don't think Colt has definitely said he is out..

Thin field or not I think Eli, Chase and Jett are going to entertain us. Ferrandis might even get his mojo back and Barcia will likely have some really good rounds as well once he is fully healed.
edit: I guess I missed the memo about Ken? I thought he was doing outdoors?
Thanks for pointing it out. I had two lists going, and I forgot to add him to the final one.
Minor oversight. My bad.
Two SX rounds to go. He better make it because the nationals need him.
Yeah true, at least we have the main guys in it.
Was really hyped when Kenny said in the beginning of the year that the plan is to race outdoors this year.. I do understand that's it's probably the best money move to race wsx but damn it would have been sick to see the yellow bike outdoors.
Damn, I literally only recognize the top 6 guys. Everyone else is a privateer that I haven’t paid to much attention to. At least they will be able to place higher & get a little more TV time for their sponsors.
Barcia might be out as well since he broke his collarbone (already plated), 2 ribs (nothing you can do about those), and his shoulder. His shoulder doesn't require surgery so he could potentially make it to round 1, but he'll be sore.
When did Kenny confirm that he was racing WSX? Steve said on Pulp that he was doing it, but was there an interview?
He didn't yet.
Gotcha. I saw something on Ken or Courtney’s instagram today that alluded to her being pregnant again. I wonder if that has something to do with the choice.
Easy to miss since he missed all of last year. I wonder with it being so thin if he doesn’t have a shot at a moto win or two this summer. Would be cool,
Racing WSX means what- Not racing outdoor mx?
Didn’t Webb just say he was racing outdoors?
Roczen?
Racing WSX means they're not racing outdoors.
Webb is out with injury and hoping to be back for a few nationals and SMX.
Roczen is skipping outdoors to race WSX. Hasn't been announced yet.
Scratch Tomac. Honda is back on top
Safe to say Tomac is on the injured list.
Edit: Ruptured Achilles tendon.
Pit Row
Tough to see that honestly. I hope that the 250 class stays healthy.
This is exactly why I think the WSX competing with the outdoors is dumb....both series will suffer because of it and one won't be around long...should have been a fall series....
recalling what the IndyCar / IRL split did to open wheel racing in the US. lifetime fan here and I can't figure it out.
Setting aside how bad Eli getting hurt sucks big time……People forget that Ferrandis was noticeably faster than the field 2 years ago when he won the championship. Chase was becoming the fastest last year and looked like he would surpass Eli this year. Jett showed world class speed in MXDN. Injury or not Eli might have been in 4th in outdoors. What may be the 3 fastest riders in the world are healthy for the outdoors and yes….I follow GPs closely. All jmho and no disrespect for Eli….especially after what happened….but I think this outdoor season was always going to show the changing of the guard generationally.
Jett could win the title.
Hopefully Dylan finds his true form again the field is much better with the #14 out there. I thought for certain Kenny was doing outdoors
How tempted is Dungey to try one more time?
Blake Baggett!!! Whos' with me?
Dungey would get podiums this summer for sure if he is in shape.
Chiz will be racing both WSX and nationals.
In a recent interview he said he plans to race the first 3 nationals, Millville, Southwick, and then the last 3 as well to set himself up for the SMX championship this fall.
Okay…I don’t care about thumbs up or down but I am curious what people disagree with. I think those are pretty straight up facts unless you think Prado or Herlings could be up there. A reasonable argument but history tells you that more often then not MXGP champs usually have less success over here.
You are stupid man
