I think it is more common now. Glover never bitched about racing an air cooled production YZ against Bailey's works Hondas. Ward's Kawasakis lacked against works Hondas as well.

I find stats interesting, and I’m an unashamed Hunter fan, so thought this was awesome and hard to believe that after so many legends, that it’s a first. I have an EZ-UP tent. I’m just not an asshole who would use it to block others out. They shouldn’t be allowed along the fence. I know some tracks have designated areas for them and I’m fine with that. But people rushing out to set them up to fuck everyone else over is just an asshole move. They couldn’t stop you from standing underneath their tent but you’d likely get in trouble for the fight that would ensue by doing so.

Crazy to think that an ankle injury could change the course of his career. I hope somehow things change or he adapts. Watching the dude has been one of the coolest things I’ve witnessed in our sport

Some more bits on Jett's ankle recovery. Unfortunately, and as expected, his recovery won't be measured in weeks but months and years before he gets anywhere close to being truly comfortable again, if ever. For context: his ankle is stuck at neutral, which is basically zero degrees of dorsiflexion (the ability to pull your toes towards your shin). To walk properly you need 10-15 degrees. To run you need 25 degrees. A normal ankle range of motion sits around 40 degrees. Jett has ZERO! How the fuck he did what he did at Pala is beyond me.

No, they are finally saying enough is enough and getting rid of the rift raft, maybe RC was complaining that the mean people at Vital are always making fun of him and saying he's sucks as a announcer (which he does) so he wants you gone just like what he did to Danial Blair. I think they need to limit access because there are still lots of Cooksey's running around spewing bullshit.

Thanks everyone for sharing their setups and feedback, I didn't really consider the 6 way blade on skid on how convenient that would be for berms. A little back story on where my question is coming from. I have owned a track that was on about 7 acres or so, I never really figured out the distance but it was about 2 min and 20 - 30 second lap times. I lived about twenty minutes away from the track and it was tough to maintain since I didn't have equipment permanently out there. I built this all with a skid...

I've built and maintain my track with a Skiddy. IMO get the the biggest one you can afford, I have a Kubota SVL 97. You can't beat how versatile a skiddy is. My track is 1.25 miles long, I can do two passed with my 12' wide disc in 30 min. I've moved thousands of yards with this thing and it shapes jumps and berms better than an tractor. I have a dozer blade for pushing in dozer berms and pushing fresh topsoil, a tiller attachment for the corners is nice too as you can break up the larger disced...

I know I've mentioned on here before but DV is probably the person who I enjoy listening to, more than anyone in the industry. Whether it is an interview, when he's on Pulp or the few English breakdown episodes he did on his YT etc, it's just very interesting. He's a straight shooter and just always has a unique, detailed perspective. I don't always agree with everything but I can respect it.

I don’t think the crowd was as bad as everyone thinks. The lower bowl alone holds almost 30,000 people. There was probably 15,000 there. A sold out hockey game is less than 20k. How many more people would you expect in any other market in Canada?

Eli’s race tonight should be taken for what it is, good testing for the season. They’re gonna learn things about the bike tonight they can’t replicate in practice and come out swinging in January. All things considered he looks pretty good and so does his equipment.
