7/15/2025 9:14am it’s evident the sport has changed a lot when it comes to how fans respond to rider personalities. I think Deegan is exactly what the sport needs. Bon Hannah was brash and cocky and he’s a legend in the sport. I also like the serious demeanor of someone like Sexton. the Lawrence brothers are excellent ambassadors. I don’t see a problem. these guys are all wins for the fans.

7/15/2025 9:11am Oh man I hope this is the last time you try to explain or rationalize anything to DonM. Any attempts to offer concession or rationalization just inflates his ego. He's the biggest Karen on the board always needing to scold people he disagrees with, posting paragraphs of condescending bullshit and absolute hypocrisy to boot. Eg now; While you try to put in some effort to explain your position and even offer some concessions (well done btw), he doubles down, calls you an asshole while at the same time accusing yourself of doubling down and dishing out personal attacks. The guy...

7/15/2025 9:11am I find this compartmentalisation strange. There are countless examples of people who were excellent parents but absolute scumbags in all other aspects of their lives, including professionally. Are we to let them off the hook just because they looked after their family? I'm perfectly willing to admit Brian has provided for his family but this doesn't excuse all the other shit he stirs up. As others have pointed out also, many of the things that Haiden does on a regular basis do not indicate someone that has been 'raised right'.

7/15/2025 9:10am First, I think there is a distinction between using gay sexual references in jest and objecting to Pride Month. But I do take your point. As for being a keyboard warrior, I'd happily say this stuff to the rider's faces - if they show up to Australia. As for attacking their appearances, I'm not attacking them apropos of nothing. When I call Cooper Webb a fat slob it's directly related to my larger criticism of elite millionaire athletes showing up out of shape. Perhaps you think that's fine? My critiques of AP's appearance - in the sense of his clothes...

See where he falls at the end of his career in terms of stats, but I think it is safe to consider Jett The Best Ever to swing a leg over a dirtbike and race.

7/14/2025 12:28pm Chase made the same boneheaded mistakes racing Coop in SX. I know the Jett lovers like to say that Jett’s otherworldly speed is causing Chase’s mistakes because the pace is too fast, but the proof is in the pudding. Chase doesn’t handle pressure well period.

7/14/2025 12:28pm No one lucks into 4 professional championship... come on... Outside of that, I think Chase and Eli are both basically checked out this season on the needed level to be at tip of the spear. They both are going to new places and platforms and want to join those teams healthy. Side note - I am not one who thinks the mental coach is needed, but the fastest I have ever seen Chase go is when he worked with James. His ego couldn't take what James was telling him, but damn if the two of them didn't make magic. Maybe...

7/14/2025 12:26pm Agreed on Jett knowing Chase is the biggest threat outside of Hunter. Redbud moto 2 when Jett was coming through the pack with Chase in tow, Chase caught up to Jett in one section when Jett had previously had about a 4 second gap on him. Jett was looking back quite a bit to see where Chase was. You can tell the Lawrence brothers know Chase is the only one with speed to match or beat them (once he's fully up to speed). Will he? No clue. But they know it, Chase knows it, and the other riders out there...

7/14/2025 12:25pm I said that about Tomac and eventually ET finally figured the mental aspect out and became the big dog for quite a few years. At one time if a competitor showed ET a tire and he became his own worst enemy throwing it away. I said in another post that Chase just stopping racing for no apparent injury reason for a few weeks was to get a sports psychologist to work on is head. He definitely seems a bit better now

7/14/2025 12:24pm Yeah, that’s what they are for, and people that seek help from them have realized and accepted that they need help, And unless if Sexton is seeing one without telling us, I’m guessing that he is not mentally ready to make that step yet and if he is not, he won’t change his mind. But he might be seeing someone. I feel that since he came back he is talking more about building a foundation and not stressing in to things like I never have heard him talk before. Classical things you get told from a psychologist after being burnt...

7/14/2025 12:20pm The last part is key. Jett has been pressing harder since Sexton came back. He has made as many mistakes in those 4 motos as the rest of the season combined. The gap to the rest of the field has also grown significantly sense Sexton came back. I think Jett knows Sexton is his biggest threat right now and going forward

7/14/2025 12:19pm He's too tight, he has no swagger or self confidence. He seems very mechanical and practical. Never smiling, loose, fun. Everything is done in practicality and systematic. Living like that makes you press. Reminds me a lot of Forkner. Done by a system rather than confidence and putting your own "sauce" on it a time or two.

I like that JT is starting to voice his opinion more. Now when Weege goes to far to make up imaginary excitement out of nothing JT can say on camera that he disagrees and have a different take that often is correct. I don’t feel that he did that in the beginning. I have said it before that JT and Paul Malin is the best combo for motocross announcement along side of Malin and Emig. I really wish that they would let JT in to the booth.
