That's totally true. Gypsy has done some very good interview with people that are non-moto like Casey Stoner, Sete Giberneau and Loic Bruni, a mountain bike world champion. I'm pretty sure that fans of thoses sport have listened to theses interviews, which is a way larger demographic then if you get another Daniel Blair interview. For me, I prefer gypsy to pulp. Gypsy isn't afraid to dig deeper and ask tougher question, to his own detriment sometime (Like when he was telling Lars Lindstrom his theory on why Chase was washing the front so much on the honda), while Steve...

I'm sure in James' eyes he viewed Jett as more calculated/smart than he was as a racer so it's a fair statement. He was out front leading and sent a jump nobody else was doing after not being on the track for hours. It really was a rare poor decision from Jett in my opinion so, in a sense, it was kinda shocking for him to do that.

I think James was able to reflect on the mistakes he made as a racer after he retired and he can give that advice while speaking through experience.

Dazza was my best ever student, to coach the family for close to there first 7yrs and stay in there house so often was the foundation. Straight after the boys 1,2 he rang me at my coaching school, thanked me and told the students to listen. It was such a buzz for the kids and they will never forget that call.

What's interesting to me is that they are close in points despite Hunter practically missing three races while Justin missed one. Justin didn't qualify for San Francisco, so he scored no points. Hunter didn't qualify for Anaheim 1, hurt his shoulder at Daytona which resulted in him only scoring a single point, and then missed Birmingham with a fractured shoulder. If you only take the rounds they qualified for and average out those points: JCoop: 189/14 = 13.5 Hunter: 178/13 = 13.7 Average Across All 15 Rounds JCoop: 12.6 Hunter: 11.9 They're pretty evenly matched when you look at everything.

I think the jump line that Swoll took into the sand was inspired, and reminded me of the time Stewart landed on Carmichael's back in motocross. Both were ill advised. Both failed.
