Ahh yes the 450 story. The one where the young up and comer decimates his competition with sheer speed and grit. We’ve seen this time and time again. I respect the hell out of Jett and Hunter, but the only one who has anything for Deegs is Deegs. He’ll be his own enemy at times, just like James Stewart. Deegs will be the new Jett, just watch. To get on here and act like Deegan didn’t just put on a clinic is ridiculous. The kid deserves some hate, but did you see some of those passes? The dude crashes in the sand, landing on another rider, gets up, and still manages to almost catch Jo. 1 more lap and it would’ve been a crazy battle for 1st.

That was a complete racing incident. I don’t think they are, but that was nobody’s fault.

If you had to think critically about this, what would your guess be?

I guess what bothers me about the 80%…or even managing a lead. It implies everyone else is at 100%. It’s more like 90% vs 91%. Otherwise we would see a smoking qual lap 20 seconds faster than anyone else. We don’t. Chase probably felt trying to catch Jett had a little risk and second is as good as first if you win the last moto. It is stupid and disrespectful to other top riders to imply Jett is 20% better than everyone else. Now…is he 1-2%better? Sure…you can argue that. 20%? You’re ball gargling at that point.
