This old timer comes into every thread about Haiden and makes the same joke, talks to himself about how he’s not actually a fan and how he just thinks it’s funny that people get mad. It’s like okay grandpa let’s get you to bed.

Obviously you have never funded your kids racing program. The spirit of the rule is to keep AMATURE racing affordable. Parents want affordable and fair racing. Deegan was racing a 60k bike against other kids on clapped out 5k bikes. Star Yamaha would/should have learned a lesson. Please explain how having a claiming rule "stunts technology growth" . In quotation because of your lousy grammar. try stunts technological growth-which is laughable. Most grass roots racing sports have a claiming rule to discourage exactly what Star did.

You're doing a great job sir!

You're OK with selected riders riding works bikes at amateur events?

USADA is worthless on anything above amateur hacks that don't know what they're doing

Despite the way he acts, Deegan is a also grown man.

Claimgate was mostly two black eyes for both Haiden and Bryan...

Your comparing Haiden Deegan to RC, RV and Tomac? Dial it down girlfriend...

LMAO, another unhinged Deegan worshipper who can't possibly read another opinion without calling them unhinged/made up syndrome/other braindead shit.

Time will tell. How does Kardeegian recover mentally from not winning a championship on the coast that is completely devoid of the competitors meant to be on his level? How will Magoofball still spin it somehow as proof of Jett fans being the problem and Vital users being dumb. Time. Will. Tell.

Nothing wrong with that. It's all the other stuff. Nothing really that wrong with the rest either, it's just fun to watch the loud guy get humbled. That's just a universal archetype. It's just entertainment. We're debating WWE at this point.

You guys lost me at the RC comparison. It’s not even close. RC was racing 250 SX at 19 and was a two time national champ closing in on Barnett’s record.

Deegan didn't win the MX championship in his rookie year. "Six podium finishes along with two wins, which led him to a 4th place finish in the championship, thus earning him the 2023 250MX Rookie of the Year award." The comparisons to RC - and to Stew - are ridiculous. People forget how good those two were.

I'm simply looking for critical thought as to why RC's 125 career reminds you of Deegan's. This site is for conversation. You're in the wrong place if you want to post your thoughts without accepting replies and/or disagreements.

It's a dirt bike discussion forum where (unironically) the discussion of popular riders will take place on a regular basis. What do you suggest the OP should have posted instead?

Direct quote from him, “I’m only riding around at 75% of my real speed and everyone knows all the fast guys are out east, so who really knows where I stand.” My brother, simply ride at 100% and you won’t have threads like this popping up.

Didn’t RC sweep in his 2nd year?

Except RC dominated 125 Supercross. His Supercross woes didn't start until he moved up.

I know you haven’t been around here long enough but you are like the James fan “The KidP” that stalked any thread with him if people pointed out he wasn’t perfect. He even has a race report where he “threw his napkin” when James crashed out of the race. Was James great? Yes! Was he perfect? No, but there was no convincing him otherwise. Is Deegs a great rider? Yes! Has he underperformed to expectations this SX regional series where only half the competition lined up? Yes, it’s ok he will get plenty of wins you don’t have to get...
