Deegan gets flack because of the way he acts and things he says. He has very incredulous attitude. He is never wrong, everyone else is. Reminds me of a few other people too.
Big difference though, Jett started riding SX for the first time in his life in late 2019, while Deegan was on SX tracks since he's been a little kid. Also, since Jett started his 3rd year, he never missed the podium and had around 80% win rate in his 3rd and 4th year.
Deegan absolutely matches Jetts stats and timeline outdoors. SX? Not so much.
Obviously you have never funded your kids racing program. The spirit of the rule is to keep AMATURE racing affordable. Parents want affordable and fair racing. Deegan was racing a 60k bike against other kids on clapped out 5k bikes. Star Yamaha would/should have learned a lesson.
Please explain how having a claiming rule "stunts technology growth" . In quotation because of your lousy grammar. try stunts technological growth-which is laughable. Most grass roots racing sports have a claiming rule to discourage exactly what Star did.

My favorite part is that EVERYONE else is always the problem and not him.
My 2nd favorite part is how he runs his mouth about how weak the new generation is yet he's the one who isn't even man enough to engage with someone online that disagrees with him.

I heard on a podcast he found some new settings over the break and he should be better. I hope so, I think he needs to be better to win this title. If it wasn’t for Juju giving gifts he would be worse off.
I still can't wait to see if he can win one this weekend. His starts have been mediocre at best and I'm waiting to see that get rectified and then judge.
Apples to oranges. Jett was beating veterans (read 450 SX champions and multiple race winners) in the 450 class, not sandbaggers and zimmer framers in the 250 class.
