Wow, I have never seen that. Ricky was damn rude and looked very serious and jealous at the same time while DB tried to write it off as joking.

On Blair, his trackside reporting and post race breakdowns were top notch, wish he was still doing that. But he’s chosen to focus on a different career path for now. Good for him.

Catching up on the pulp show with DB cohosting. Steve stated he liked the 2 announcers in the booth better than 3. Steve then asked DB how many guys he likes in the booth and DB got pretty flustered, He finally did answer 2 but it was pretty awkward moment. You can tell there is some bad blood somewhere. Why did DB leave and can we please get him back?

Hi! I’ve been around this forum for quite some time but never posted anything. Thought a good start would be to share a little hack for the Alpinestars tech 10 bootie. In my opinion the boots are great but if I had to find something to improve is the the lack of tightness in the bootie. I’ve seen some pro riders having laces but not sure if they have the exact same bootie as the standard one. Anyhow I decided to put some quick laces to mine and cut the elastic band. 100% recommend for those who wants the bootie...

When I spoke to Eli the Sunday after Washougal (Alpinestars event), he said that he was weeks ahead of where they thought he would be and he also said that honestly, the injury hadn't been as big of a deal as most people said it would be. He was very genuine when he said he was surprised at how much easier the recovery was compared to the horror stories he had been told.

Give the kid some Props, a few months back, he was racing Futures. Well done is SX, MX, and now SMX....especially his 2nd moto results after the tough first moto last night The kid is for real, and is fun to watch. I like Jo Shimoda, but sorry to say, 4-4 was a choke, especially for that kind of money (500k.)

Love how everyone is up in arms about the championship yet are fine with the superbowl deciding a champion in 1 game. Or nascar deciding a champion in 1 race. We have MX and SX titles up for grab. There’s nothing wrong with a finale championship at the end.

"I hope they continue to consolidate the racing into something that becomes a unified single championship at the end of the year" The SX and MX championships should never be unified! They need to be kept separated for a number of reasons, and throwing away 50 years of tradition is near the top of that list. The SMX playoffs were fantastic but suggesting that the SX and MX series should be combined makes zero sense.

I think we just got a glimpse of the potential for this sport to really become greater than the sum of its parts. Like it or not the concept of a playoff/series ending championship with big bucks on the line where we can see it with our naked eyes rather than in a riders contract is a big deal imho. Having the sport build to a crescendo rather than end the summer with somewhat of a fizzle is a huge step in the right direction. Yeah it needs fine tuning and tweaking but to me this was a huge shot...

I personally got to watch him when he came over at 14 years old and tested with TLD for about a month in SoCal on SX. He was good, really good. I remember everyone around the team being really impressed with him and they were originally talking about him coming over full-time within two to three years of that test, but it didn't happen.
