I was on the phone snooping around for some old JGR parts when Paul reminded me of this thread and made me realize I should post an update. -Doc got a few rides in on Supercross before getting his van ready for the trek out west for the first weekend. He put a half hour on the race bike before putting that suspension on his practice bike to continue to get comfortable on that suspension. So far we’ve only slowed the rebound down two clicks and moved the sag 2mm, so the changes have been minimal to say the least...

Dunlop will import the tires from one of their overseas factories, pay the 20% tariff to US Customs, add that tariff to their local costs (local storage, shipping, profit, etc) and charge a higher price than previously. The price increase will be less than 20%, but their will be a price increase. Dunlop closed their factory because they could not make a profit manufacturing locally, when Dunlop increases it's prices, Dunlop's local competitors will increase their own prices to maintain market share, they may even become profitable. The higher prices may make it profitable to manufacture tires in the US...

If Levi started making jeans here, they'd be 350 dollar pants. If Fly brought production to the US, their cheap pant would be 400 bucks. Sure, corporate greed takes a bit of blame, but the American wage pushes it over the top.

More people buying motocross bikes and competing in official competitions whether local, state, or national? 2. More attendees at live SX, MX and SMX events, and larger TV/streaming viewership numbers? 3. Both? When Gypsy Ho bangs on about 'growing the sport' he seems to be referring exclusively to the second option and thinks this will happen through things like Jett wearing fashionable clothes, Haiden posting YouTube content, and the imaginary Netflix Drive to Survive show he keeps blowing.

So they will have to buy them in another state, and register them in another state, like half of them already do. So California loses even more tax money on the sale and registration of those RV's. Why anyone votes for those morons in my former home state is beyond me.

Vet classes being open , Run what ya brung. I've seen a stark here in Kansas and I'm pretty sure it's still going to boil down to the Pilot. Some you crack me up with the argument of having different bikes with different characteristics on the track. I think the difference in rider worries me more than what the guy is riding. If I'm faster, I'm winning, no matter what fn bike it is.
