If the XFL had more money bankrolling it than the NFL, like this does compared to the AMA series, it probably would've worked too. If it starts next year as trash still, then yes I think it'll fail. But frankly you guys seem to forget that nobody has tried to compete with AMA SX in ... decades? 750+ races run, and evolution has created AMA Supercross as it is today. And you thought this championship's first race was going to be on par with that? It looked exactly like what a first race for an entirely new series usually looks...

Was it perfect? No. But who genuinely expected it to be first time around? Whinging about it not living up to the advertised hype? Do you actually expect promoters to talk it down? Was it entertaining? Hell yes. Will it get better? I’d expect so. Bring on the Aussie round.

I think the track and racing were fine, I think the presentation is what is leading to these perceptions. Feld is a circus company and knows how to put on a event and it goes to show how much aspects of the "show" like lighting and the broadcast go into how an event feels. The wide track was nice and while the quality of dirt didn't look great, at least they weren't scared to pay up for plenty of it. Feld has been skimping on dirt for a few years now. I admire peoples enthusiastic desire to see a series fail that for the first time ever in our sport wants to work with team owners and riders long term with moneymaking and value creating as a central point in the business model.

The steel ramp was used each time at the AusX Open and was well received. The extra kick allowed the riders to do some fat whips etc. Unfortunately there’s just certain people here who look for any opportunity to criticise. They must be sad individuals.

How long do we have to listen to you hating on WSX for? We all know that the AMA is the premier SX series with the best riders, so why do you feel so threatened by WSX that you feel the need to attack it at every given opportunity, from every possible angle? No matter how weak that angle is. Is this a my SX is bigger than your SX thing? Do you drive a red convertible sports car?

I know you’re going to keep making multiple posts here. I know you’ll even quote yourself if no one else replies. I know every one of those posts will be negative. And I also know none of them impress me very much. Why make big announcements months and months out from the series? Modern society doesn’t have a long attention span. Build slowly and ramp it up when it really counts sounds like a perfectly good strategy to me.

I'm not bad mouthing anything, its in my opinion its disingenuous to claim World Championship, When you race in one location. Sure who races matters... But there would be no races without fans (besides the pandemic stuff). So there is conflation of the two.
