6/5/2023 10:05am Yeah, the same media test day that you are referring to. In fact they had an active pro MX racer from England who races an FC 450 there. He turned 3 laps on a stock FC 450, then got on the Varg and was seconds a lap faster on it.

You say I don't know how it works and then you validate me.... Japanese historically build in a higher safety margins than ktm does at the expense of weight and sometimes cost Same with cars to an extent. They run a spec that's not as close to the limit. Just slightly different design criteria. Different philosophies.

6/3/2023 4:26pm Good for you, but they still have no top end and fall flat on their face above 8-9k rpm. Dyno testing confirms this. Its a great bike if you like to short shift and I quite liked mine .

No regrets here ! Finally got to ride mine on Sunday. I’ve been riding my 300 in technical single track all year and was a little rusty at first, but after a few laps, I felt right at home on my 350. I’m so glad that I sold my SX300 and went back to a 350, it’s the perfect bike for me.

Exactly why I just picked up a 23 GasGas MC250 with the blowout rebates. They got a long way to go with the TBI.. Sorry, but less power, more weight, more expensive and more complicated is not the ticket on a 2-stroke MX bike. As for remapping the TBI's, last I heard there are like 2 places in the US that have figured out how to crack the stock ECU and remap, Vortex has no plans to make an ECU for these bikes and GET was supposed to be close to releasing theirs. *Edit... I assume HRC will favour Jett in the long run as it won't sit well if Sexton takes the #1 plate to KTM next year. My personal take is Sexton is on a slippery slope. I mean, if it reaches boiling point late in the season and shit hits the fan then Honda may just bench him...pure speculation but Honda can do it. Personally I think Jett will have Sexton covered this year as between the two, Sexton is prone to give points away through mistakes.
