6/22/2026 4:53am The Fences: Yup, they do look a bit 'scary'. However ( to me ), more scary is with tracks like that, being without some approach to Not having riders spear off into / onto other sections, and the other racers. Tracks, due to the terrain available - in this case, on the top of a Height / Mountain, that are set at different levels, with straights parallel to each other, well , there's the distinct possibility of a prang, where a rider goes off the side, down, onto the other section of track. Or, in the case of a corner...

6/22/2026 1:59am I don’t think it matters, Friese probably has 50 points against his license and is still lining up lol

6/22/2026 1:58am I have no problems with the penalties but if you have that many red cross/red light jumping violations there is something systemic going on and it should be looked at internally to understand why.

6/22/2026 1:51am To me, this GP was one of the greatest examples of the USP that MXGP has. The variety of tracks and track surfaces. As a rider in this series, you and your team has to be able to race every single track style and condition.

6/22/2026 1:51am It was a good GP, nice to see the riders having to work for grip , and make line choices instead of Rut-O-Cross. Typical Italian track, can we go to Cingoli next?

6/22/2026 1:51am That track was as close to old school 80s and some 90s racing we are going to get. Natural terrain, hills. No water. Blue groove hard packed. No big jumps, no ruts. Don't want to ever hear people saying it was better before again about tracks 😂

6/22/2026 1:50am You know what the track was kind of cool. Formed some nice ruts and the big hills looked cool on tv. Good racing too. A few riders weren't fans of it though.

6/22/2026 1:42am I don't know any inside information, but I don't think Paul has any aspirations of retiring, or Infront of moving him on. As you say, Paul is the best commentator this sport has ever had. It's hard work on your own (Maler still carries that off like a champ!), but I think the commentary product is always better when there are two announcers. Ben is a good guy, very knowledgeable, very enthusiastic, has been working within MXGP for a few years now in media (so, like Paul, he knows everyone and everything that's happening) and is from a storied, world...

6/21/2026 12:15pm Probably in the minority here, but I absolutely love this track and the way the MXGP attack it and have to be creative to pass

6/21/2026 12:13pm Yep that's what happens when you water concrete. But like rym says it's good to have a mix of tracks in the series.

6/21/2026 12:12pm 250 Practice It's like watching Dogs on wet / oiled Linoleum . It is, Wonderdous! It's so good / different to see a surface other than a Plowed / Tilled rut fest. Better them, than I - or, many of us. I / We'd be on our arses almost instantly. It's going to be a hard ( pun intended) weekend for all riders out there. 450s out now .

6/17/2026 9:54pm Dylan said the funniest stuff I ever heard about a track. Interviewer said I see sticks & mulch on the track. Dylan yes they’ve added everything to make a motocross track shit. And maybe we should ask gncc riders how to ride this. Lol etc

6/17/2026 9:53pm Or leave the wood chips and sawdust at home and just let hardpack be hardpack? I don’t understand why every track has to feature a rutty, intermediate terrain surface.
