Watching Lucas’s bike coming into corners, his rear wheel never seemed to be tracking correctly. Rebound appeared to be off. Very understandable with the lack of time they were presented with. Imagine once they get a bike set up for him. I do love the fact that he goes out and races, hauls the mail and is so thankful afterwards. Nothing about the bike set up, getting acclimated or any other excuse. He was happy and acknowledged that he lost to the best rider in the world, thanks everyone for making this possible and thats it. Love that stuff.

Not a little truck but there is a truck coming out that will be a total game changer once the technology is sorted and reliable. Dodge is the first to do it and I'm sure Ford and GM will follow. To me it's the ultimate setup in a truck, but it's not going to be cheap. It's a rolling generator that will eliminate the need for generators. You can back up your house with it like a Tesla power wall. You could live off grid at a campsite for months and you never have to worry about depleting the battery...

I remember we used to pull in the clutch, put the bike in gear, rev it up a few times, and then let the engine die without letting go of the clutch. You have to hold the clutch in until they drop the banner. This is supposed to hold the clutch plates a little more open, (so I was told). Seemed like it worked when we did it back in the day,...

We snuck into the pits after the race and got to wait at the Rockstar truck until Malcolm got back with Big James, JS7 and the rest of the crew waiting for him there. We were right in front of the whoops where chase crashed, and the energy leading up to that and after were absolutely incredible. Watching the crowd follow Mookie around the stadium and being part of it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. So cool to personally watch him go from being the goofy little brother at Dade City to a winner at the pinnacle...

Rapidly losing population? Yeah, its for sure different and it hit the news, but the reality is the net loss is not that fast . According to --> https://www.ppic.org/publication/californias-population/ and https://www.macrotrends.net/states/california/population There was a net loss of 100k residents from 2021-2022. With over 39M people in California that's less than 0.3% of the population. The year before there was a greater loss, ~400k or so, but that was preceded by 100 years of net growth and triggered by a pandemic. We'll see what the future holds, but I'm not thinking that California is going to lose much of its influence...

Depends what you are trying to measure. If you want to know if a rider got beaten fair and square then yes crashes count. Jett’s been beaten fair and square a few times this SX season. If you want to know if someone was able to race Jett, pass him, and make it stick for at least a lap then that’s only happened a handful of times so far.
