We snuck into the pits after the race and got to wait at the Rockstar truck until Malcolm got back with Big James, JS7 and the rest of the crew waiting for him there. We were right in front of the whoops where chase crashed, and the energy leading up to that and after were absolutely incredible. Watching the crowd follow Mookie around the stadium and being part of it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. So cool to personally watch him go from being the goofy little brother at Dade City to a winner at the pinnacle...

With over 39M people in California that's less than 0.3% of the population. The year before there was a greater loss, ~400k or so, but that was preceded by 100 years of net growth and triggered by a pandemic. We'll see what the future holds, but I'm not thinking that California is going to lose much of its influence...

Depends what you are trying to measure. If you want to know if a rider got beaten fair and square then yes crashes count. Jett’s been beaten fair and square a few times this SX season. If you want to know if someone was able to race Jett, pass him, and make it stick for at least a lap then that’s only happened a handful of times so far.
