Well I picked up a 2024 KX 450 to go along with my 23 350sxf. The KX is awesome! Power is smooth, it turns great, and doesn't beat me up. I'm able to do longer Moto's with out getting worn out like on previous 450's I've owned. Some may say the 24 KX 450 doesn't have enough excitement. For this 57 year old man it's perfect!

I have played around alot with mapping and actually ended up back at stock. I'm running opened up air box and Ti6 exhaust. I feel like the kx app is a bit of gimmick compared to the yamaha one.

This bike rips…🏁 once you uncork it from stock exhaust.. full PC T6 with Chaz remap of efi system, air box grommet pulled.. like day and night compared to stock..you can easily pull third gear in some corners.. did get a tiny bit of detonation doing so, only on slightly less roll speeds but it’s also running just pump gas at this point, till the switch over all the tester hype only applys to stock configuration.. this bike could’ve easily been number one after a few simple mods

First ride on mine today. And with a 51 tooth rear sprocket, removed plug in the airbox, twin air filter and screens removed from the muffler its definetly not any slower than my previous 2020. I could lug in 3rd without any problems on a deep rutted sand track ( typical euro track )

Got to break mine in today. Really couldn’t be happier. Bike is very stable, and the cornering is excellent. Did notice a touch of oversteer, which is probably a fork setup thing Chassis rocks. Soaks up tons of chop and has no bad characteristics for me. Very stable in lean angle Motor is very good. I love the character of it -smooth and linear, highly rideable. I find myself wanting more oomph already though. Going to remove the baffle and try the CHA24 or Tickle map. Hoping for more out of low 3rd gear without adding a tooth, but that...

Yes, load cell. I don't like to give actual numbers because every dyno is different......we look for gains. That being said, stock bike was in the 52.5-53.5 range stock. With a mapped Vortex and PC T6 we were getting 57-57.8. Numbers would depend on how heat soaked the bike was. I dont think the air boot is an issue. I think a better air filter cage, better filter, and some venting in the side panel and you are good to go.

Spent the day on the dyno and this bike is actually really strong. Power curve is flat and the torque numbers are really strong. Seeing about 5.5 HP gain with tuned Vortex ECU and Pro Circuit T6 system. She LOVES air. We saw 1.5 HP increase if you pulled the side panel off and removed the filter. Some holes in the side panel with a good aftermarket air filter kit should be a good addition.

Whatever helps you feel better. Jett pulled 8 seconds on Tomac after being 4 seconds back. He was winning regardless. Luck would have been Roczen staying in the race and putting a bigger points gap on Webb.

Great rides by both Jett and Eli. Especially on that track it was truly amazing to see.
