Yeah exactly thats typical garbage marketing pic. The base valve is dependent on shaft diameter only, body size doesn't matter. You can have smaller shaft bigger body or vise versa It all comes out similar as long as valves and shim stacks are taken into consideration. On KYB shocks there are a couple different base valves, for a 16mm shaft...

True, the KYB comp adjusters do very little and are mainly for fine tuning. KYB adjusters can very as well with some doing more than others, reason is the inconsistent manufacturing of the comp adj piston. You can change the diameter of the 11mm shim that rests on the HS adjuster spring bigger which will give your HS adjuster more...
KYB and showa have similar piston port designs and you can model that in restackor, look to the right of the Bvc tab and you will see an example. The weird part is where is the check for reb stroke? Rule of thumb is for the base valve in a shock to be about 10-15% of main piston dampening force...

The suspension on your bike is just fine, twin chamber Showa's can be made to be really good! Yes the 05's are a little better but not sure it'll be noticeable. If you wanted to go deep you could swap some internals on the forks for newer stuff like mid pistons and add a leaf spring type mid. Not much...
2 steps forward, 1 step back. They are extremely good at fixing known issues and then screwing up something that was solid. Twin chamber forks to 4cs, keihin carb to mikuni, Carb to TPI, awesome frame to rigid frame

I'll say it for the 3rd time. The oil will sit on the free piston and eventually make its way to the outer chamber. Fuck

I've been saying it for a while, but dumbing the sport down isn't helping anything...talk to the core fans, cater the broadcast and races to the core fans... If the broadcast team would let RC talk about dirt bikes like he normally would (like he's talking to another retired pro) I think he'd do a lot better in the booth...he's always trying to translate "core dirt bike" speak down into a simplified version of dirt bike speak and it just doesn't translate well.

There was probably 100 times more people that know nothing about football that watch the Superbowl last night than there ever will be people that know nothing about supercross that watch a race. Not only that, football is probably 10 times harder to understand for a newbie than a motocross race is. Yet, at no point during the broadcast yesterday did I hear ''2nd and 8 at the Chief's 38 yard line. That Tony, means that the 49ers have 3 more attempts to advance the football for 8 yards.'' The vast majority of people that watch the races know what...

1). We are an incredibley niche sport 2). We will never be more main stream, nor should we want to be. 3). sx/mx is held together solely by its Core fans. 3). Leverage our uniqueness to increase interest among our people. That will in turn grow the sport naturally So I’ve never been into football at all for various reasons but I was forced to watch the game yesterday and here’s what I found. It’s actually interesting and I enjoyed it This sport is 100% reliant on its CORE fans. Trying to be something we aren’t is only going to...

Hit the nail on the head, Australians often greet each other with way worse language than this 🤣 We call our mates c*** and our enemies mate. Don’t take it to heart people!

Wow I think its awesome Dazzy telling it how it is. There should be more of it instead of all this PC crap. Jett is just having fun kicking arse and jokes around like most 20yr olds. The kick start thing was just a kid having a laugh. Their manager is organising all the PR crap. Everyone needs to loosen up a bit and enjoy the kids riding style. He obviously has something special!

Ha, “…weren’t so classy”?! FFS he’s a working class Aussie, using cutlery is classy to us 😂 Loosen up dude, everyone wants good honest interviews with an insight to what people are really thinking and doing, and we just got that. You don’t have to like what is said, but in no way should we be trying to shut down these sorts of responses. Bring them on!

How did they not have padding right there? They had the padding end exactly 5 inches over from where it was actually needed allowing a rider to slam face first into a concrete wall. Thats friggin ridiculous, somebody fucked that one up bad.

He got the worst of that start and the side of his helmet completely missed the protective padding and looked like it hit that steel scaffolding post or concrete under the black tarp. Looked like he was out. Hope the kids ok. Gotta feel bad for him and his family. Goes from winning a few minutes before to that. I had pretty high hopes for him seeing how he literally just came off the track and had the most recent look at it.
