Been there, done that multiple times over the years. The last time I did it was about 12 years ago and I sold a few really nice bikes to pay off all but the house. Also went to "all cash" purchases after that. It was the best thing I ever did for myself and the household. I listened to Dave Ramsey (get out of debt radio host) and generally followed some of his advice. Good luck with your journey!

They have not, they won't have a bike ready in time for the Shootout I'm planning. They haven't 100% confirmed the day we're riding it but I've heard a rough date range. It'll be nearly 8 weeks after my planned shootout dates. If I can get the Triumph for extended testing, I'll probably do a mini-shootout between it, the winner and maybe another bike. Just to get a frame of reference.

There is just no way Josh Hill was riding continuously for 75 minutes on 80hp setting. As others have stated, that is likely just "bike-on" time and not indicative of actual riding time. If he showed his ride log, that would tell the real story. That said, in my experience with the bike thus far, the range is plenty for a majority of riders out there. I posted 2 entire 30+ minute motos at Cahuilla Creek MX on youtube to show realistic range expectations on a motocross track, where i used about 80% of the battery each time. I consider...

"That being said, as a growing startup I wish they would alleviate customer anxiety and communicate whenever they reach some kind of milestone like "100/200/500 bikes delivered" or "currently assembling 1/10/50 bikes per week". That could be some positive communication from them and stop people speculating so much one way or the other." That's why I'm encouraging people to share their VIN numbers on here, so we have some idea how many have been shipped. If anyone visits a dealer with a demo bike, post the VIN number!

Got to do 15m two sessions on the Varg yesterday in Sandy Oregon. Rode the Grey Model with the 18" rear wheel and side stand. The Red Model has a 19" wheel and no side stand. Other than that same bike. Both bikes were present. On IG search Rory Sullivan and Joey Landcaster for vids. I have a Freeride and a E Pure Trials bike so after a lap or 2 I was comfortable with the response and overall feel. The bike was just how it came out of the crate in reference to suspension settings. Rory did set the...

From someone who was involved in both WSX and has been involved in Paris SX, they told me that WSX wanted a larger promotion fee from Paris SX then they were currently paying riders to be there. Basically, under the current Paris SX model, they put out X amount of start-up money to get top riders to the race. Every year they have a solid haul of top 450 talent and sell out or nearly sell out their venue. It works. WSX wanted a larger promotion fee from this promoter then what he already spends. WSX would've brought a weaker...

I'm 64 and I have a blast at Barona Oaks, I can clear every jump in mode 2 on my Alta. The only down side with Barona is that they are closed until November.
I'm on the unpopular side of this one. I like the rule and most guys, especially outside the factory level, always seem to be blown away at how gnarly the pro field really is. I like the idea of them getting a small taste, getting their teeth kicked in, and hopefully walking away going "Shit, I really have to dig deep if I want to do this". Personally, I think it can help some guys make the transition as they can learn what to really expect before it's too late and they've gone full-time. Quite a few kids who have...

And in your xenophobic drivel you fail to realize that you're actually boycotting a company from Taiwan, who is one of the most important American assets in the Pacific and perhaps China's staunchest enemy.

Few words about my day with Stark Future. In the morning, we had a small briefing at the HQ we were received by Seb Tortelli, CCO Olle Olsson, and our regional sales manager Oskar Henriksson. I was accompanied by our pro racer Erki Kahro, who is currently sits in fourth in the Estonian Championship and has scored points in both the MX2 and MXGP classes. In 2019, Erki also participated in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Pala with a borrowed stock bike, where he finished 19th with a results 17-20. I invited Erki along to get expert feedback, because...

You could always move to Yuma, Az. We never get mentioned as an Arizona track but Happy Track MX has been here for 20 consecutive years. Granted, we are only open 6 months out of the year and only on selected Saturday nights but Yuma is only 2 ½ hours away from ACP and Barona Oaks. And only 3 hours...

Man, I answer this question so many times. "What's the point?" The point is electric performs better than gas for my use case which is local motocross. For me its not about saving the planet. I just want the best, safest, quietest when riding, easiest to maintain, highest performing motocross bike, and for me it's electric. Its the same reasons i love my Tesla Model Y Performance. The battery on these things will last easily over 5 years. My Alta MXR is 5 years old with inferior battery technology and i can still rip 20 minute motos on it. The...
