I’ve ran oversized rotors in the past and the improvement has been a 2/10. Can feel it but, eh not really worth the cost to me. I’ve done stainless lines in the past as well, and similar results for me. The caliper even though it’s more expensive it’s much more noticeable to me. It was a 10/10 improvement for me, on that rmz. The caliper and braking cm46 pads was all I needed on the rmz. I didn’t do oversized rotor or stainless line and it was NIGHT AND DAY better, seriously.

I don’t have any input on the Moto stuff, but I bought a ride engineering unit, and it was a MASSIVE improvement over the stock rmz caliper. It was one of the few aftermarket upgrades that was worth the asking price and was immediately noticeable and better. That rmz450 went from feeling like the brakes weren’t nearly enough to get her stopped, to being on par with brembos. It had a light lever pull great modulation and tons of power.

I dont think you got my point. Nothing wrong with carbs, and nothing wrong with swapping one or two jets or clip position. But having to buy new needles, nozzles, isn't good for anyone in this sport. Buying slides is expensive, cutting them can be dangerous if not done right. Combining all that together is a giant shit sandwich. No one wants to mess around wirh their carb for a month or two every time they ride their new bike trying to dial it in and not blow it up. The mikuni is a great carb, but damn have they...

It's long established that pure distilled water is the most efficient coolant though. Water with dispersants or wetting agents or corrosion inhibitoi have a place but nothing transfers heat as well as good old H20.

After Lewis Hamilton got the majority of F1 drivers to join the BLM movement, kneeling for the flag, I said see-ya to F1. It’s really sucked since the hybrid era started anyway. Mercedes with their 4 times the budget over every other team sans Ferrari has show the world how to buy a sport. The last thing I’d like to see is a tribute in our sport to that idiot. ...not a good look IMO on Roczen. He does seem to want to be part of that ego-centric sports-Hollywood crowd.

Amazing response, thank you for being objective but respectful, it’s quite rare around here Grinning But yes your right it takes more than a team to represent a whole brand, but they do represent the brand never the less, they’re the factory 250 team, right?

If you have ever ridden a sand track with twin air skin setup used as instructed you will understand why people use them. The point is that the skin is not oiled, nor is the layer that is next to it. So first you have the normal filter oiled as usual. Then you have the dry thin coarse filter I think they call it dust cover and then as the third layer you put the dry nylon skin. With that setup you can run all day at a sand track because the sand does not stick to the filter at...

2014 KTM 450SXF footpegs... If I'm not mistaken, 1996-2015 SX and 2005-2015 SXF pegs are all the same.

I just take a big ziplock bag, pour oil in, put filter in and squeeze & move it around until it is well oiled. Take out of the bag & install.

$10,000 ?? That’s what it would cost to restore one to a high standard that is also “ready to race”.
