100% agree with that. Dungey has a very good attitude. Hope he's resting a bit this week to be ready for Saturday.

Mark Johnson was his factory suspension tech. Now Mark's company is REP / AEO. He is doing suspension for the public offering special "in-house" parts such as custom spring perches, triangles, lowering arms and etc...

Well, he had an excuse if he finished poorly: "Haven't done this in years..." We would have bought that, KTM would have bought that, no harm, no foul. Now he can't say that. We know he can do it. He knows he can do it. Waters were tested. Side note: Ever notice how many people throw out excuses BEFORE the...

Dungey looked great. First race = zero pressure as no one really knows his capabilities--not even him. Now there are expectations. I think he has the fortitude to handle it and stay on his training program. I'm guessing he is happy and upset all at the same time. Hope he finds the one or two seconds per lap. His bike...

I think this opens the door for innovation. A while back someone made a goggle with a tiny lens mounted in it. They discontinued and went on to build body cameras for the military. I tried it and it worked great. The only gripe was that I could not use my goggle of choice. Imagine if GoPro made something where...

I'll do some research to see what this does. Can you describe what this changes? Right now I'm getting switched from red to blue w/ 25nm spring. I'm planning on trying a handful of configurations.

Harbor freight carrier and GPX 250e both cheap and both work great. A little low on the CX-5 though.

I've done around 4 piston changes. Doing one next week. Only one major rebuild at 255 hours: - OEM Cylinder - OEM crank kit (all the bearings) - OEM gasket kit - OEM piston and all the minor things like wrist pin - OEM head and new washers/orings - Vforce reeds The guy who did the bottom end said that...
I'm riding a 2019 KTM 250SX and have put 310 hours on it doing local hare scrambles, enduros and a few motocross races. It's such a versatile bike. Here are the mods I've done which make the bike just perfect (for me): - SXS brake calipers, incredible modulation, pairs perfectly with the instant on/off power of the 2 stroke -...

I had a Mazda CX9, pretty similar with a 350lb tongue weight. I bought a hitch from etrailer.com and had an oil change shop install it for $50. I used a single and a double hitch hauler with it. The single was perfect. The double hauler would sometimes rub the ground when turning into parking lots or driveways with hills...

On the Xact Pro (cone valve) forks, I am trying to understand the differences between the red and the blue cones and the 25nm spring vs a stronger spring? If the red was swapped for the blue and the same 25mm spring was used, how would this differ from keeping the red and using a stronger spring? Is there a...

For the hitch, contact a dealer and see what they sell. Then look for aftermarket hitches with the same specs. 350lbs is plenty for most off-road bikes. Towing capacity is always understated, so no worries if you get close to the max. For a hitch hauler, if you're gonna use it every weekend, the "Add-A-Bike" hauler with the single footpeg...

brian9 Started a new thread Titanium Bolts Ok to Use?

Is it ok to use Titanium Front Brake Caliper Bolts? I was talking to support at Warp9 and asked if they had any. He strongly recommended against using titanium there due to stress. Also, I'm wondering if a Titanium Front Sprocket Bolt and shock bolts are ok. I cannot find shock bolts. Race Tech Titanium sells the caliper and countershaft...
