I clicked to sign up MAVTV PLUS and create account and no way to pick a subscription. When I went to manage payment go to some weird third party payment screen. I then used the chat to talk to an agent or SKYNET.. here is my chat session.

I got my answer from Mav on how to stream from my phone to my TV. I guess this is called mirroring as opposed to casting (which is what I do with the MotoGP app).

How to Cast / Mirror MAVTV Plus from your iOS devices such as iPhone / iPad


1). From the Control Center Menu on your iPhone / iPad, select the AirPlay icon:

2) Once AirPlay is has been Selected via the Control Center Menu, available Streaming Devices will populate:

3) Your iPhone / iPad will be checked as this is the default player / display. Select the newly desired Streaming Device listed under Speakers & TVs below. In this example, the Apple Device listed as Entertainment Room was chosen and mirror.

4). Audio and Video will now be Streaming to your chosen device.

Is Pro motocross about to lose a lot of exposure due to only be able to stream it on limited platforms? I can not find MAVTV app on my Samsung tv. I feel like Pro motocross is going to lose out on a lot of money. It’s bad enough we can not get new outside sponsors in the sport. Good thing for energy drink companies are around to keep the sport alive.

As of now it's not available on my XBOX Series X either. Definitely annoying, but I'll find a way to watch it. Should it be better? Absolutely. Am I going to lose sleep over it? Nope.
Yeah it sucks but if this crap is taking up a good amount of your mental bandwidth, there are probably other things that need addressing...

Peacock was nice as a lot of things happen during commercials. I'm guessing those days are gone. The execs probably go, "We make X dollars with premium subscriptions or Y dollars from commercials." and call it day. Quality goes out the window.

Even when Im logged into my account it still shows I have not selected any plans even though they sent me the reciept for my monthly subscription. Surely this will be a fck around come race day.

Unless the racing is on MAVTV from DirecTV or another channel that I currently pay for I will not be watching the series. I will not pay a dime more to watch MX or SX. Greed is killing our country! This is a way for Lucas Oil to recoup some of the money they pay for sponsoring the series and save MX Sports some money in paying for TV coverage. A win win for them at the expense of the fans.

To me going to streaming only is the promoter saying he is done trying to grow the sport and is now going to grow his profits.

Good question because NBC Sports Gold/Peacock was commercial free and all 48 motos were live. None were delayed.

MAVTV+ has 3 motos that are delayed broadcast.

Both platforms stream practice/qualifying.

Having 3 delayed motos and commercials is not a better streaming package.

I grew up having to watch races at 3AM if I was lucky on ESPN looking at a dumb TV guide. For me I'm happy. All races live? Then dropping discount code in that video? This is NOT the NFL or EVEN close. I don't get the complaining. I just don't. You don't have to pay for cable. I completely only stream and cut the cord and only have internet. Now I get to directly contribute to my favorite sport. I think that's awesome. If we don't someday you might see it disappear IMO.

I had to be lucky in Texas to be able to watch Denver Broncos early 90s and if they weren't on local TV oh well. Could I then go watch clips of a game I didn't get to see broadcast? NOPE!

Just because things were done a certain way 20-30+ years ago it doesn't mean things shouldn't evolve.

We now live in the digital age. People expect to get their information as soon as it's available.

The complaints are valid. People have been paying to stream the races for 10+ years to watch all the motos live and commercial free. That's what everyone expects.

Now we pay to stream the races, but we have 3 motos that will be delayed and we now have to sit through commercials.

It's not difficult to see why people are a little upset about it.

New to the streaming platform this year: 3 delayed motos and commercials for all. And we’re told straight from DC that this is an upgrade over no commercials and 100% live motos.

I don’t understand.

This is an upgrade for MX Sports because they do not have to pay to have the races on TV and they are trying to convince us that paying more is an upgrade to us. Not all of us want to cut the cable and stream everything we watch so this becomes a direct increase to our bottom line, not to mention that where I live the internet sucks and streaming is brutal. I never have an issue with directv buffering. This is a step backwards as streaming will not bring one single new viewer.
