On the Xact Pro (cone valve) forks, I am trying to understand the differences between the red and the blue cones and the 25nm spring vs a stronger spring?

If the red was swapped for the blue and the same 25mm spring was used, how would this differ from keeping the red and using a stronger spring?

Is there a general principle here?

Call Billy at Powerband Racing. He’d be able to give you any answer you’re looking for regarding these.

Have Enzo do a regular mid-valve stack and you will thank me later.

I'll do some research to see what this does. Can you describe what this changes? Right now I'm getting switched from red to blue w/ 25nm spring. I'm planning on trying a handful of configurations.

I went back and forth between blue and red and still never got the comfort I wanted from them. Craig Decker at Enzo in Texas removed the cone and cone valve adapter and used a conventional shim stack. It used the stock mid valve piston that is in there and is easily put back to cones if desired. They work like a well set-up KYB kit fork because they have all the coatings and tolerances of the Cone valve fork. ML512 said SX races have been won on both cone and shim stack WP forks in the pros forks.

+1 on Enzo shin stack. Made the forks much more plush on small bumps. Enzo gave me the best fork setting I’ve tried.
