Silencer Options for KTM SX 250

I‘am looking for another Silencer for my KTM SX250/300 2019
When i get the Bike there was already a FMF 2.1 Shorty mounted , it looks good but i miss the
“ real“ 2Stroke Sound compared to the older Style FMF .

Show me what you are running on your SX/TC 250s

HGS or Pro circuit seems to be the way to go.

Bud Racing carbon silencer with HGS pipe. Pretty throaty, several people have asked if my bike is a 300.

Why the long?
Long gives you more top end over rev which these bikes really need. Shortys give you more bottom end.

My buddy has a shorty and I have the long and they are about 1.5" different in length at the bottom and overall the same length total pipe wise.

The long PC silencer paired up with stock pipe on my '19 gave it a noticeable improvement in top end, definitely recommended.

Tried the shorty in my 17 (not much diff from
The 19)
The long one helps with over rev and I also found it helping with broadening the powerband
After jetting per Vital member AJ specs (there’s a long thread on that he started a while ago)
I found this a really good combo matched with the stock pipe

I just got the Akrapovic-slip-on-silencer (55505979000) for mine. It's nice.

Do you guys have any pics of the PC long on your bike? That's the 304 silencer correct not the R304 which I think is the shorty. I agree with the longer silencer and it's benefits just can't justify FMF's 2.1 price.

Be careful with silencers, some loose power through rhe powerband vs stock on the dyno .

If the stinger outlet is smaller than stock. That might be the culprit
