My KX500 is quite amazing, actually. As is my ‘07 RM125 that carves better than any of the latest offerings from the OEMs. Oh, and, my ‘79 CR250 makes a lot of these new bikes seem like very HEAVY boat anchors. In fact, smokers are sooooo good that I’m thinking I need a 300 for off-roading instead of my 450. I’m jus’ sayin’…

This sport does not need more fragmentation for the premier scene. There is pretty much 9 month of racing already for us fans, and we for sure don't need 3 parallel series during summer specially with all the national series running. I want to see as tough competition as possible when I turn on a race. This serie leads to less. Also feels like more of arenacross to watch it.

That's why I hang on to my '19 300xc. Last of the carb'd kickers with E start. I do like having my button when I stall or fall during enduros or xcountry races. For moto I can see going strictly with e-start. But offroad in the boonies and ravines give me the option! I think Rieju is the only offroad...

Well, maybe Suzuki has it right and all the other manufactures have it wrong? The need to release a new model every four years has a significant cost and R&D /manufacturing etc. Suzuki proved its old bike can still be competitive in the right hands. With the ever changing economy and the continued cost of a new bikes approaching /passing the 12k+ barrier, will other manufactures start pushing out new bike releases to 5 or 6 years with just minor updates to keep costs in line? I realize Suzuki situation is extreme and doubt a new model will ever come...

If anyone believed the 'experts' saying 2024 was the big release year, I have some magic beans to sell you..... Suzuki are done with bikes - road and off road. They will keep taking your money though. The should sell them for 6K max as they have more than made back their development costs from 2012.

Remember, whatever routine you decide, dedication and consistency is key to your improvement and success, which means grinding it out even on the days you don’t feel like it. There are no short cuts.

Congratulations on getting back to training. Motocross is the hardest sport on earth, so training to race and ride will make you a safer, better rider. As you know, moto is a very cardiovascular intensive sport, so checking with your physician before starting any activity is a good idea. For fast gains in both strength and stamina, if I could only have one piece of workout equipment, it would be an indoor rower. start with 5000 meters every other day at a comfortable pace with a day of recovery for each day of rowing to start, then after your body...

Yes, but the he magic trinkets lessen the skill advantage. First holeshot fork devices, launch maps, rpm shift indicators, and now metal grates are de-skilling start technique. Who is gonna sneak in a camera to that disengages the hydraulic clutch as the gate drops? Trust me, the ECU says, the gate dropped hang on.
