Why aren't these ICE guys all required to at least resemble law enforcement? Most pics I see, they are in bandanas and dark glasses with nothing visible IDing them as enforcement. Looking like hoodlums. And supposedly not IDing when asked to by citizens. No wonder there are some dust ups going on when encounters are happening. Actually, it's a wonder there aren't more.

I'm not sure you could have drawn a worse comparison as Japan does nearly everything Republicans are against; they tax at a higher rate, they have universal healthcare, there is a major emphasis on higher education ( of which most is funded by the government), they have lower wealth disparity, and the general tone amongst the people is the importance of the collective over the individual which, among many other things, can be seen through their incredibly intricate and well functioning transportation system. What I don't get by a lot of the comments is that somehow a person working on US soil, assigned a tax number, paying taxes, checking in with ICE and following the protocol appointed to them while they wait to obtain their legal paperwork somehow is negatively affecting you? Rather they continue to work and exist as they have been for years as they wait for their legal paperwork, the better option is to deport and/or send them to slave prisons rather than offer them amnesty? A lot of these people are now married to Americans and have American children...
