K Tech is apparently the way to go for suspension, I have one with Ohlins and one with K Tech but I don't notice much between them other than them being miles better than OEM. 9/10/2026 12:37pm Everything's going towards twins now. Lower RPMs, lower maintenance and manufacturing costs. They sound like shit though, nothing beats the round of a 600cc 4 cylinder screaming by on the straight. The only exception being 2-strokes, I'e watched that video of Kenny Roberts riding the TZ750 at the Indy Mile about 1000 times just to hear that thing scream

8/25/2026 9:33am I cheered so hard for Kenny in SX that its made Hunter the enemy in my brain. That said, I just want to see it come down to a battle on the track. The best outcome is that they start 1 and 2 and things don't stay that way. Sorry, the real best outcome is an Eli Tomac legacy ride...

8/12/2026 7:31am From what the test riders have been saying, it seems like the new era is going to be much closer, without being much slower. I like the reduced aero, makes closer following possible. I like the switch to Pirelli tires, Michelin has been awful I like the banning of holeshot devices and lowering devices, brings skill back to the starts.

8/7/2026 10:06am Yeah I don't want to go that crazy because if i kick off an arms race with the other parents in his class we're going to end up severely outgunned and outspent, so no custom stuff for me. He's probably only going to race it 5 more times max before moving up to the Ohvale I bought earlier this summer.

We had an old, ratty TT-R 50 hanging around, so I got to work on freshening it up and its now a decent little race bike with a set of scooter...
