Listening to pol espagero and toprak talk about the new 850's compared to superbike and moto2 is not sounding very good.
Pol saying riding the 850 is like riding a moto2 bike and reis a huge step back just like this retarded package they have in F1.
Motogp should be 350, 700, 1000 i think.
350 and 700 could be production motors in true works form in an independent roller and motogp just remove the aero and ride height.
It honestly sounds like the 850 duc is slower then the wsbk V4
Idk I loke moto3 and motogp because of the thickness of the bikes.
None of this make me interested its like moto America. No real reason to watch it unless you love bikes and racing.
Yup, once again they heading in the wrong direction.
And I'll say it again...lose all the effing crap..winglets, ride height devices and electronics and all the other bullshit that found it way onto the bikes.
Used to say that the only form of racing where you can't hide (meaning the vehicle making up for your lack of skills) is, motocross and motoGP.
Gave up on motoGP two seasons ago when all of the aero gimmicks came into play.
F1 this year with its ridiculous new specs.
Nascar well over a decade ago.
And IndyCar before that.
Still watch imsa racing, but their ticky tacky penalties, and BOP rules, have me losing interest there as well.
Motocross remains (to me) as the last form of true racing where the rider's make the biggest difference.
(Though the holeshot devices and start blocks need to go)
Superbike series and motocross is my fix.
I retired from moto GP along with Valentino Rossi.

Yeah, the rivalry he had with Sete Gibernau was hilarious.
Openly stated the sete would never win another race as long as he was racing.
Then backed it up.
Then seeing sete in the post race interviews sitting there seething.
Similar to what we're starting to see now in motocross.

From what the test riders have been saying, it seems like the new era is going to be much closer, without being much slower.
I like the reduced aero, makes closer following possible.
I like the switch to Pirelli tires, Michelin has been awful
I like the banning of holeshot devices and lowering devices, brings skill back to the starts.
