Now I think you're talking about 2 different things. The real moto crowd that doesn't like Jett, doesn't "hate" him. We do want to see young stars do well...BUT; 1) The media is the one over-talking and shoving this kid in everyone's face on the broadcast. If you don't already notice that without me attaching a video for proof, then you are blind to it and are fan-boying over Jett anyways. 2) The booing "hate" that Jett got last weekend was all his own fault. He's the one who tried to play tough guy and disrespected a former champion over...

This subject has been beat to death. For the record, I do not hate Jett. I was a fan from the point he crashed chasing Ferrandis years back...kid had/has heart and talent. Though lately, he's harder to "like" because of some of his actions. One example: the Ando incident. What we hate is the over-exposure, 24/7 in your face coverage.....so we mock it. We're also fed up with the annoying over-bearing "super-fans"....so we mock them. Hunter is another story...don't like the guy.

I think most people would say moto on peacock is pretty dialed in at this point, once Weege and Stew are in the booth most of the time it will be a golden age of moto broadcasting. Gripes are mainly nitpicking.

That wasn’t racing it was survival with equal parts talent, endurance, equipment care and luck. And it shook some things up. One side benefit at least now we don’t have to hear about a possible perfect season for Jett anymore.

SX is not normal racing. They’ve had to move all the dirt into the stadium, build the track, then afterwards they have to clean up and move it all out again. The parking and pits setup at SF has been a logistical nightmare, they had to organise all of that, shuttles from the parking etc. Sold thousands of tickets that they would then have to potentially refund. In the end, the race ran fine. I think having the second race of the season be a mud race is great. Everyone leaves the opening round with questions, you’re waiting for another...

MXGP? that series that has half full gates, right? So you’re saying factories should pull from the series in the country where they sell the most bikes annually and instead follow a series that most in that there largest customer base couldn’t even name a rider from? Sounds like a solid marketing plan that will for sure sell some bikes.

In terms of broadcasting and Paul Malin, MXGP is great, I agree. But there is also a lot of fucked up things behind the scenes. Also don't get why you would compare MXGP to Supercross. MXGP is as core as it gets. I'd rather compare it to the AMA nationals and I couldn't personally decide w hich I think is better.. I'd always prefer both over SX but I still watch every SX round because there is no better sport.

Yeah, the pressure cooker is turned way up when you are at the sharp end of the pack and the last thing you want tondo is deal with some media guys BS. Matthes was kind of a dick about Jett not moving up, Jett did stomp everyone this year though. The whole don't ask questions about the pass thing was dumb on the Lawrence's part. Forgot to include Stoner on that list, I was a big fan of his when he was racing, he was a prickly pear too.
