The Earlier Start Time ? Everybody Dig It Or ?

Rarely watch more than just the heat races live.

After that I usually finish up the lcq's and mains the next morning with coffee, and the F.F. button.

Once they get into all of the fluff after the heats, while the track crew works, I lose interest.

I dig being able to watch the races and still get a full nights sleep. 

I personally preferred them later. Do whatever you needed to do on Saturday and then settle in as you wind down to watch SX. 

Having to not stay off of social media, and not have to wait until the next day to watch races, was awesome.  I am sure 99% of the east coast folks are thrilled, not sure about the west coast crowd.  I am sure whatever ratings they have for live viewers is definitely up starting at a reasonable hour like that, I am sure that was the larger goal there changing the start times.

I was at top golf, completely forgot it was starting earlier til I seen tweets about first 250 heat

It was weird seeing opening ceremonies start with some daylight still there. It was great being home at 8:10 though. 

Doesn't matter...I record..watch at will...it's does seem more exciting late at night though....

I liked the earlier start time, I'm in central time zone

I’m west coast but it was sweet to be able to text back and forth with friends and family on the east coast. Usually it’s the next morning 

I'm East coast. I dig it. Who wants to stay up until 1am to watch a race? 

I liked the earlier times way better.

But then again, I am a person who likes to be in bed by 8~9pm.

Opening ceremonies was funky being in the daylight but I liked how it ended early! Still have time to enjoy your weekend night. Beats trying to leave the stadium around 10pm

Yeah. True opening ceremonies was kinda meh but like how they pulled a “opening ceremonies lite” just before the mains. Lights off, lasers and what not. 

I'm west coast and dug it, and I know that had to be so much better for you east coasters.

Being on the East Coast it's perfect.

I love that at 9pm me and my son were sitting in a nice restaurant eating dinner. The opening ceremonies were fine since it was close to 5 when the fireworks were going off. I’m not sure how the young people feel but this 64 year old loved the earlier start time. 

Makes the season that much better.

That's the first race I've watched on a Saturday night in a long time. Nice that it was on USA network too so I could record it, watch on delay, and blast through the commercials and fluff segments. Thumbs up from the central time zone.

I’m pleased they went to earlier start time. I’m no longer falling asleep during the late mains. 😂

Even being on the West Coast I like it starting earlier. Even if I have a lot of errands to run, I spend all day just thinking about the race, so the sooner I can satisfy the hunger the better.

Agreed, the sunset made up for having opening ceremonies in some daylight. Made it home around 850 maybe earlier. Went to bed around 1, played my game and my dad us still asleep i think and he went to bed earlier than i did.

Being at the race was nice getting out earlier. Still had time to hit an all you can eat crab leg seafood buffet afterwards! 🦀 

Not a fan for a few reasons no one will care about lol.  

Best damn thing ever! I used to HATE having to wait until 9pm central time to watch the West coast rounds.

I prefer it later for some reason, not really sure why lol.
