11/10/2025 2:38pm It's not necessarily completely gone, it just gets hot enough to slip a lot and if you use it for little pops of power they lose the pop until it's cooled down.

Other than perhaps overall feel, I believe that this is a big reason why Tomac prefers the cable, so that he can feel the clutch going away and compensate for it.

I don't think Star gives a single care if they have to discard 90% of the bike after each moto, if the kid is on the podium, winning, getting interviewed, etc. Edit to add: It's wild, but expected that everyone wets themselves over Tomac abusing bikes...

11/9/2025 8:30pm The problem is you can’t tell when you are overheating a hydro. It auto adjusts until it’s gone. With the cable you get a lot of warning in the lever, can adjust and go easy on the clutch for a bit and actual feel it start to come back.

This is the reality of it. Anyone bold enough to do this knowing he lives there is bold enough to do something very violent. Local hockey coach got murdered where I live for hollering at some guys stealing his neighbors catylitic converter. It’s easy to talk about how big and bad you’d be with your gun walking in on intruders but the reality of it is way more grim.

The same people who stole my '24 YZ450F. Posted it on marketplace for sale about a week prior to it getting stolen. There is a really bad theft ring in the Raleigh NC area where tons of peoples bikes are getting stolen. Marketplace makes it way too easy. They literally can just google your name and find your address. Fortunately i ended up getting my bike back but it had roached plastics and street tires on it. Also found an airtag on it under the seat, which is pretty scary. These people are good at what they're doing. They grinded...

When we built our current house it came with a pretty good Alarm System. We upgraded and ditched the phone line wired dial up to cell dial up. One thing I didn’t think of was alarm switches on garage doors. I left the garage open a couple of times over night with dirt bikes shinning like a nickel in a goats ass for a thief driving by. Lucky nothing was ever stolen. I had the alarm company come out and add a switch for each garage door. Didn’t have a wire back to the panel so they installed wireless switches...
