The bike looks good and I really like the idea of easy to ride 450. Hope that they will succeed. If I would be looking for a new 450 this year - new Kawasaki KX and this Beta RX would be my main options to choose from.

It was at Pietramurata in northern Italy. I happened to be in the area traveling once and stopped by. The mud is where he went down. Unreal scenery.

A stock 450 is too much for 87.64377% of us. Wringing the piss out of a buck twenty five is far more gratifying than cautiously twisting an abundance of power.

But… You left out 300cc 2-stroke choice?! Funnest / Coolest “Vet” bike I have had! 😎 👍❗️ (EDIT-I am 6’1/205 in gear/ready to ride, and I tried a newer 350 and I just didn’t jive with it! Likely a defect with the rider but it just wasn’t for me! I sold the 350 & got another 23 model 450 that I really liked until a moto buddy got his 23 300SX… I tried it and LOVED it! Got a 300SX myself as soon as I could and haven’t looked back! The sound, the smell, the thrill of the 300SX help...

hmmm... KTM has had the red plate on two different riders bikes this year. odd someone would think that the bike is somehow not competitive. Last weekend they were on the podium and had four bikes in the top ten (more than any other manufacturer. how does someone come to the conclusion that the bikes are not competitive? what am i missing?

I have a 23 250SX, I’ll chime in on a few things after putting 6 hours on the bike. A major note about what I’m about to write here is that I DRINK KTM KOOL AID. I am biased because I believe this brand makes the best motorcycle on the market. I’ve also been riding KTM since 1995 with a few years on Suzuki 80’s, and a few years on Suzuki and Kawi big bikes. The rest of my time has been orange. As of now, my suspension is stock. Like haven’t touched a clicker stock. I don’t really care...

Different bikes work for different riders. Look at Kenny on the Suzuki. There are no bad 450’s these days.

I don't like idea of bringing MXGP to third world countries just because in Excel file, motorcycles sales (scooters mainly) are huge. Apparently, even on the highest level, our sport is loooose program and I hope that actions will be taken after this incident- at lease...

The fact they had to pay up front for the pin for his leg is awful. This is why these 3rd World GP's should not happen without a full rider bond from the organiser.

I wonder if #84 would have anything to say if KTM would make an offer to Gajser. But I do think that it could be a match. For me it seems like Gajser and Honda are really tight but who knows. Do they have anyone who could fill Gajser's caliber? Just one loose idea: I wasn't into MX in Evert's era but listening to Lewis and Adam, a lot happen in that time. It would be awesome if you could make a podcast about 90's and early 2000's MXGP scene. Maybe with The Man himself. I would appreciate that. Thanks!

450 motocross this fall, we're testing it around February. I'd be super surprised to see the 350 anytime soon. My discussions with them seemed like it was still in the consideration phase and hadn't been green-lit.

For me age is but a state of mind, yes MX has consequences if one chooses to focus on them. As far as results go, I truly don't care as I ride for the freedom provided by a dirt bike.....we manifest what we choose! Keys for me are: Good diet No alcohol Adequate sleep Stay flexible I don't workout excessively Optimistic life plan

Yassss, I love MX GP Bits! Interesting to see how much freedom Fantic has with componets choise. I woneder if Yamaha said "Fantic, you will be a training ground for us". Thanks for amazing photos and comments.
