To me Gaerne SG12s are the most durable and have the quickest break in time. Tech 10s will survive half as long and there is definitely a break in period. That being said the 10s have more of an athletic feel since the booty hugs your foot and the boot seems to have a softer shell. I felt my foot was just in a cast in the SG12s. I swear by the tech 10s promoting you to ride on your toes with the angle of the sole. SG12s are flat footed while the 10s have a slight angle change towards...

In terms of pure race / rider analysis and technical perspectives, this podcast is hard to beat. It's pretty "bare bones", but he still works in some of his dry humor and this week we even got a philosophical quote from Oscar Wilde. I dig it. Nice work DV, thanks for contributing. Keep us posted on your foray back into riding. Enjoyed the small update there at the end.

I'm no Hunter fan, but all we hear is "deep field" and then we're surprised a guy in his rookie 450 season isn't top 5? 🤷 Besides losing his shit in that LCQ, he's been in front of both factory Husky's hasn't he? Both with experienced guys on them... I appreciate that isn't a great yard stick right now, but still. I get that he's not off to a flying start and some were maybe a bit optimistic, but it's probably better than going balls out and smashing himself to bits?

Cahuilla Vet track is great for a 46 year old overweight and out of shape has been! I rode my YZ Monday at Pala (didn't ride much, set up was off haha) and Wednesday at Cahuilla... Cahuilla Creek MX VET tracks new layout is freaking awesome! And seeing DV12 chasing Marvin around on 2-strokes today was even awesomer! Got to love MX! MX had to be the only sport where everyday Joes get to mix it up with the heroes of the sport. And cheering for the Cobra while he putts around was just as fun too!

You need a lot of queues before you need to ride "multiple hours" in Belgium. In fact you can ride from one side from Belgium to the other side in multiple hours. The truth is that Lommel or tracks just outside Belgium like Grevenbroich or Loon-Plage aren't private tracks and aren't always groomed to perfection. But that is also because MXGP tracks aren't in the same way prepped as the US National tracks. For the people who want to know, our Belgian answer to Amazon' Whole Foods listens to the name Bio-Planet.

20 minutes worth of jacket talk is nothing compared with the amount of "bro, like, I know bro, that's so sick bro" nonsense with which Gypsy Tales prefaces each of his questions. For every 10 seconds that his guests speak, Jace yammers on for like 5 minutes. I've been enjoying DV12's new pod. The Prado analysis was GOLD!!!

Those bikes look awesome. Strong team and very important year for De Wolf. Looks like this year they have a limit on seat height. If I remember right, in the past, both Kay and Mattia used extra tall seats on their bikes.

Cool that Austrians can be very agile with bike changes - especially with something that complex as chassis. Generally I'm not impressed by digital additions to dirt bikes but this app looks awesome, especially with Lit Pro. As you said, looks like it really can make someone a better rider by set up possibilities, better understanding of how someone is riding. Also, possibility to easy tuning down a 450 for average user is a good idea. As a taller guy, I would lean more towards KTM but yeah... both bikes are waaaaay outside my reach currently.

Everything is so secret in our sport, how are they gonna do a DTS/Match Point/Full Swing type of show? We don't even know what (officially) Jett hurt in SD or how much is his heat race win bonus? Do you guys think Aldon or any other trainers will open their doors and show any of their training stuff? I think there's already a lot of content if you listen or watch all the podcasts or vlogs we get today. Any F1 or MotoGP guys do vlogs and podcasts like moto guys do? I don't know how you guys do it...
