I look forward to this race more than any other. The pure excitement from the huge crowds is infectious & im not even there. As a fan of dirt bike racing - this event is the cherry on top.

Riding a “worse” engine is one thing but taking a team to a national just to tank and try not to qualify is wild. Say what you want. RC never did it, RV never did it, Dungey never did it, Reed never did it, Stew literally died trying on a terrible JGR bike. To lay down and not qualify is just bananas. Either way props to Prado. He was shredding, next year should be a doozy.

Pitbikes prohibited, chainsaws prohibited, bbq in special areas and etc prohibited.... hopefully it's just their expectations, because from my view, there is TWO events happening that weekend. One for sure is races through daylight and another one is ''mxon campfest'' it's pretty wild, to say the least.

His speech that started with: "If you spend so much time, energy and for privateers also money to it, you better enjoy it. You better quit if you're feeling miserable doing it." was interesting and something that loads of kids should hear. The other stuff is just a guy who is still progressing why things went south wile he was one of the big prospects. Sexton should be smarter and should be mentally stronger than this. Bad look for both of them. Sexton has to just let that one go.... Nothing about the Fineis interview gave me confidence this is the beginning of a sustained comeback. Shit on basically everyone he talked about, took no ownership for the past failures and basically said everyone should let me do what I want, vague "health issues, " didn't know who his current team manager was.... and I still almost felt bad for him because he still doesn't seem to realize he's being laughed at and not with half of the time.

Well, to get "a decent pay and a good bike" you'll have to perform at a consistent base at first. And that's what he's been lacking the past years. He hasn't finished in the top 10 in the final standings for the past 4 years. He has to understand he can't remain a full factory rider without a paycut with those results.

Would love for any journalist at least once to ask the second level question: "what do you need the bike to do better and what are you willing to sacrifice in setup to get it?" None of these journos ride, and nobody knows a thing about bike setup except JT$, but he's too bashful.

Regarding the races: I really enjoyed seeing the MX2 class having 40 entries with a bunch of quality entries in it. It probably didnt really show on the tv broadcast, but the fights for places 15 to 30 were nice to see at the track.

Not Kawasaki related, but 2-stroke related. French publication Motoverte asked some people about the return of the two stroke and here's what the KTM boss in France had to say. I highlighted an interesting part.
