has anyone in recent memory shot themselves in the foot more than Chase?

going back several seasons...I couldn't count the # of mains he's leading or about to lead before he tucks the front, stalls the bike, tips over, etc...

That guy could have SOOOO many more wins. Strange phenomenon why it's so chronic with him.

He stalled the bike quite a few times? Not using enough clutch?

His rear caliper was bent, the brake was sticking.

The stalling part happened but it is rather strange.

With all ruts are they possibly turning the idle down to slow the bike down?

I love him. But, he needs to sharpen his mind. It’s his biggest weakness. The countless boneheaded mistakes are all you need to know. Which really sucks because he’s the only guy right now that’s capable of matching Jett speed for speed. But, Jett is a touch sharper between the ears.

Didn't he do it in the heat and the main? Surely they would have changed the caliper after the heat if it was bent?

Definitely seems like he's taking things in the right direction. Losing by less than a second even with some type of apparent mechanical or uncharacteristic stalling.

just glad we don't have to hear about what garbage the new ktm is all week

They did. He bent it hitting a hay bail in the main.

As far as I'm aware, no one is currently running a Rekluse auto-clutch in Supercross.

Why is that?  Can they not hold up to SX or just uncomfortable to the rider's?

Is it just me or did it take his bike longer than usual to fire? Maybe it just seemed that way in the heat of the moment

I think maybe RJ Hampshire is on par with Chase...

Heat definitely, had to put feet down and was almost at a stop. Main seemed to get going fast enough.

Rotor or caliper? I thought for sure these guys run some sort of auto clutch….

Tomac, in the heel more specifically Grinning

That guy should have like 4 SX titles at least. #2 all-time, with 2 titles

Forkner also comes to mind

Ironically, if Tomac and Forkner hadn’t shot themselves in the foot, Chase might not have a few of those titles

I'm not buying that his brake was bent and was sticking in any way.. If it was bad enough to stick and stall while rolling through a turn and getting under full throttle then he would have been slow and endoing every jump.. not tracking down Webb to the last lap.

If he did bend the rotor it was probably in that left hand turn where he was taking that awful line and giving up half a second every single lap. Same one he stalled in.

Everyone else use the inside rut which was really good but he kept burying the thing into that middle rut that kicked him wide

I thought he said he bent his break pedal by catching in a rut, which could make sense for stalling the bike.

Right that line he was taking had no flow to it. I get the whole not following thing but he was losing more time than if he just tucked into the inside line as Webb. What the fuck do I know though

Why do you guys think he bent a rotor? He said he bent the pedal on a tuf block, then caught said bent pedal in a rut to cause the the stall.

His win total and championship total are the same as a few of his peers. How many wins/championships do Reed and Stewart have?
