Thanks buddy me to . I grew on Jap bikes but I remember when I was 13 or 14 back in 2001 drooling over the FBF husky team bikes and wanting even a stock one but couldn’t get them here in Ontario Canada . But in the last few years I was able to find two ex team FBF bikes and I was able to find a 1986 tm and a 87 cagiva wmx . I really like the euro bikes from the last 80s and 90s early 2000s . They just look badass .

Back in November I came across a picture of an old post a guy in the Uk made 7 years ago of this ex 1995 husaberg factory fc 580 team bike . I noticed by the pics it had a lot of the correct rare parts the team ran , spes exhaust , gold nit forks , aluminum billet engine guards . Also had JS stamped in the engine cylinder head and marked 580cc which is not the production engine size but the engine size Smets and the factory team ran, production was 501 or 600. Been a few weeks since I’ve updated, since then my frame came back from powdercoat & I begun reassembly. Still waiting for my head, water pump, and PV covers to return in the mail as well as my swingarm bearings to arrive. After that it should be time to fully assemble.

Sorry, mid 90s KX125s were 35mm PWK long bodies. I put one on my 01 GasGas MC125 and my 88 Cagiva 125WMX. The 96/97 RM125 has the 36 PWK long body. That is what is going on the 94 GasGas EC125

Not sure when we will get this started , but a few weeks ago i met up with my best buddy in Belgium, who had this little beauty in the back of his van. Originally built with an 85 motor, this now has a 125 motor in it, needs a pipe , carb and electrics. Its a 2001 i think, with an older motor, but not sure how much. Plan is to do it as Puzar rep graphically, i have a set of Marzocchi Magnum's to go in it , my buddy is staying here for a few months, so...

9/18/2024 10:31am They rip, I had an 07 and an 09 and used a bunch of the FBF mods. I haven't ridden the newer 125's but it just had so much power everywhere, JD Racing ignition would really wake them up. 144 up to 167 big bores are easy to attain with these engines. Can also mess with the power valve springs...

No real updates other than trim/numberplates. Road Race bike projects have taken over a bit for now. If anyone wants to take over this project, i'll let it go for $3k. Hate to see it just sitting.

6/19/2024 12:12pm Based on some internet sleuthing, I believe the offset is pretty close, within 1-2mm at least for YZ triples. The fork lug and axles you may need to play with. But if you have the parts just test fit it. You many also need to swap the steering tube into the other clamps.

Some slow progress. Built the front and rear wheels. Only to discover the front axle is missing. I have sourced one just need to get it from the guy. Need to replate them both which I have everything I need to do that other than time. Lol Cylinder is off and needs a replating and one of the exhaust boost port valves needs to be welded and the actuation hole redrilled.

Hey man, you have a nice GasGas. Pa tience with the build. I know that it's difficult to find spare parts for these motorcycles (it was already difficult in its day), but hey, eBay, Facebook, common parts with Kawasaki...for the engine spare parts, you can contact TM directly, surely they can help you. I share a photo of the ec125 that I had, sold it many years ago. Cheers.
