Not sure when we will get this started , but a few weeks ago i met up with my best buddy in Belgium, who had this little beauty in the back of his van. Originally built with an 85 motor, this now has a 125 motor in it, needs a pipe , carb and electrics.
Its a 2001 i think, with an older motor, but not sure how much.
Plan is to do it as Puzar rep graphically, i have a set of Marzocchi Magnum's to go in it , my buddy is staying here for a few months, so hope to get it done, alongside another build, time and space permitting.
Never ridden a 125 TM, so it will be nice to get it running first , then do the proper resto.
As an owner of 2 TM's of the same era, I'm subscribed. I need to get going on my builds as well.
We need to get a few jobs done first to get her in the 'shop', but once we have , we should have a decent base .
And we need pictures of yours.
You bought it...nice! You already know you need to talk to Mr Woodsworth. He'll know everything and everything, and either have, or be able to get you most parts you need to get it running.
I've planned to do a Puzar 98 rep one day (based on a 99 production bike), and have quite a few parts stored away. Factory cylinder/head, NOS rads, front disc, brake hoses, Tecnosel seat cover and a few other cool bits...
Bought is such a subjective word.
I am in possession of it, and yes we will be talking to Michael presently LOL.
And while i will ride it, i think my 125 guy will be the regular pilot.

Ltwracer will hopefully chime in with some more info to, he had a couple builds at the same time.
Yes, looks like 95-99 motor. 01 Graphics. Paioli forks.
I have an 01 in mid-restore as well, can't source those number plates anymore, have to get 2002 and up if you want to freshen.
Thats a good thread i remember it at the time.
Post a reply to: 01 TM125... it isnt Yellow, but hey, it will do
