Figured I’d make a build thread of the 99 I’m currently building. Basic background of the bike is the guy I bought my 04 250 from threw it in for free since he wanted it out of his yard, seems to have been sitting for who knows how long and was said to have ran not to long ago according to him. Got almost all the body work on now. I am so stoked on how it looks. Still a short list of things to do to make it ready to rip. Get new rear tire mounted New chain and sprokets order fatbar 36 get Luxon Clamps on Swap fork lugs and AER cartridges Either make custom bracket for scalvini silencer or buy a 2019+ pipe and sell current pipe get smartcarb setup new hand guards that is what I need before spring is here but the want list is much much longer Here is a few more pics of it slowly...

Sorry for the lack of updates... Been out of town a lot for training at my new job but the bike is almost finished! Few small things left to do and we will be ready for the enduro season! First ride will be this weekend just to work out any kinks from the build.

Wanted to reach out on here, I work for raptor blaster. I know a lot of guys out there blasting in their builds, I can help with anything wet or dry blasting related. MORE TITANIUM!!!! 
Got this super rad 1744 Creations Ti cone pipe and a Pro Circuit Ti-2 silencer. The silencer si actually for a pre 15' 150 but positionally it fits well but the mount doesnt not line up. I can make a bracket pretty easy to make it bolt up. I do like that this silencer is quite a bit shorter then the ti-2 for the correct years of my bike. I need to get all the correct mounting hardware for this pipe because it is an 18+ but for now here is a mockup that is drool...

Spent a few hours digging out 7503 rusted staples from 405 previous seat covers and installed SEXY thrill seekers cover. also finally bought some tyres or tires or rubber and swore some more at my bleeding fingers before stepping back to admire my handiwork the brand new tank really pops 😜😜😜😜🤤🤤 just need to chuck the plastics on and it’s ready for a firing 🥳

3/22/2023 6:43am Awesome thanks! When you say you can use 46mm KYB rebuild parts, does that apply to the Ohlins shock as well? Mine has the Paioli's upfront, which also takes the 46mm KYB's apparently. Love these bikes, should have never sold my 03, it was clean, this 01 I have is rough.

I have a few sets. LMK if you are looking for oem or aftermarket, 25mm offset or 22mm, Ti or steel axle 😎 Main question is what year are the forks & lugs as that determines a few things as to which direction you want to go.

3/20/2023 6:12am Same, I went with '02 KX rear fender in white and '03+ KX side number plates. Trying to source the front shrouds and fender in blue. UFO europe site had decent pricing but wouldn't let me check out. US site doesn't list TM parts?? Been quoted $74CAD each for shrouds up here...

Plastic came in. UFO still makes some of the plastic which saves a ton of money from ordering straight from TM (if it's even available). They had blue side plates but couldn't get the blue rear fender so I just got them in black, it's the shares tail/side plates with 94-98 KX. Still need the front fender which UFO has, I just forgot to add it to my cart when ordering :/

Where did you source the UFO plastics from? I've been getting mine thru TM. The plastics are the most expensive part of the build! Also, would you mind posting a picture of your handlebar clamp setup? On my 'show-room' model, the top mount is a one-piece 7/8" mount. I've been trying to source original bar clamps for it. Yours look like 1 and 1/8". I also have 1 and 1/8" upper triple clamps from Applied racing and Emig racing that came with my bikes.
