You can send the spokes to Dubya and they will make you a new set for $110. Took about a 10 days from me sending them two spokes to getting my spokes back for my Cagiva WMX.

The bike has made it's way to me here in CT and I've been slowly collecting parts and working on it but it's been slow going.  Would love to see pictures!

I found a 3rd bike in tough shape in Massachusetts.  Haven't bought the pile of parts from the guy but might just because stuff for the chassis is difficult to find.

Thanks for the update...I should be able to get some pictures soon. The guy who owned the GG was a long time GG dealer who had a lot of connections.  He was even an importer of the Honda CRE enduro bikes in the mid 90s.

Here is what I found...The numbers in paint on the motor and on the FIM inspection sticker on the head tube match Paul Edmonson's from the OK ISDE.  The former owner (long time GG dealer and former ISDE competitor) told me it was Paul's bike from the ISDE. It is in excellent condition so no build thread needed.  Except maybe to remove the Sparky from the carbon silencer!

Awesome and thanks.  I see a pwk carburetor which isn't stock.  I planned to do that anyway just to make it easier to tune.  I'll have to check if my pioe is a messco like that bike.

Wow, beautiful bikes! Woohoo

Any updates on them?

How cool were the GasGas of this era, I also had one at that time... 1994 ec125... good frame, nice Marchocchi/Ohlins suspensions and very powerful engine (mine also came with messico pipe)

What great memories...

Cheers.

Some slow progress.  Built the front and rear wheels. Only to discover the front axle is missing.  I have sourced one just need to get it from the guy.  Need to replate them both which I have everything I need to do that other than time.  Lol

Cylinder is off and needs a replating and one of the exhaust boost port valves needs to be welded and the actuation hole redrilled.

Hey man, you have a nice GasGas. Patience with the build. I know that it's difficult to find spare parts for these motorcycles (it was already difficult in its day), but hey, eBay, Facebook, common parts with Kawasaki...for the engine spare parts, you can contact TM directly, surely they can help you.

I share a photo of the ec125 that I had, sold it many years ago.

Cheers.

I'm not really a 125 guy since I weigh 215lbs at 6' 3+" of height but my buddy gave me a deal I couldn't say no to so here it is.  Maybe this summer I'll get it ridable and then figure out what to do from there.  I like the black frame guards, do you know if those are KX pieces or GasGas.

I have the old plastic and might try to salvage it but to get it going I'm using the blue KX rear plastic just to keep with the 90s color scheme.  It's getting warmer here and we start racing in the next few weeks so I'm sure I'll get it rolling as it has occupied my lift for the past few months when I built up the wheels and started looking into the motor.  The bottom end is supposedly fresh.

Parts are tough to come by in the US since only a dozen or so of these were brought in.  I've sourced some from Europe but it's still hard to find stuff.

Good times.

The frame guards are an OEM replacement for the gasgas from the years 96-11. I've been looking and this is the reference: BE250520030CT
For the 93-94 gasgas it was necessary to cut something, but I no longer remember what (possibly rear brake master cylinder cover)

Cheers.

Plastic is the tricky part.  Don't know if I'll ever find flow red side plates, radiator shrouds and rear fender.  I hate trying to salvage plastic as it never really comes out new again but I might have no choice with this one.

Radiator shrouds is difficult (If I remember correctly, Hebo manufactured them in red and yellow)

Have you checked if UFO makes the classic enduro rear fender (to add a cutted mx fender) for example in blue?...or white or fluo red for a CRE?

UFO Italy makes the Enduro rear fender in TM blue, black, green, and white that is similar but not the same.  I believe that '94 GG fender was partially a 1994 KX fender and another lighted fender grafted to the end.  If I had to guess about the lighted part of the fender, I would say it was the same fender used on a CRE of the same time period (the tail light looks similar to a CRE). Please note, UFO USA has special ordered fenders for me in the past that are not on the UFO USA website. I agree regarding your statement about Hebo making the radiator shrouds, likely the side number plates, and the headlight mask.  It is possible I have a correct headlight mask for that 1994 in my spares if you want me to check.

Edit: I was wrong about the side number plates as they are 1992 KX.  Also, I think UFO may make the rear tail light portion. Check it out.

All great info guys.  It's 92/93 rear plastic from the KXs and I tried to convince UFO to mold it in flow red for me but they wouldn't work with me on the minimum batch size might be to formulate and potential cost so I could see if it was worth it.  The front headlight is actually in good shape and the original poster had put a new Honda correct color fender on it.  I might be able to salvage the radiator shrouds and they would benefit from graphics but that might be a tall order to find some one with a pattern.

I did find and buy a set of frame guards in the states so thanks for that tip!

Like all low production non imported bikes the struggle for parts is real!!

No work but some success in locating good parts.  Cylinder needed a replate and one of the exhaust side port valves (similar setup to a newer Yamaha with a guillotine and two smaller side ports) was all played out but thankfully sourced a good top end locally from what appears to be another isde bike.  Picked up a few other random parts from the guy like straight radiators and the correct foot brake.

After cleaning/honing the cylinder it measured out to a D size which I ordered a woosner two ring from the TM America parts dealer.  So hopefully I'll button up the motor after I get my 86 YZ250 back together since the primary gear nut decided to walk off during my last race and take out the water pump gear.

The plan is to get it all together and running then decide what to do with it from there.  Either sell or do some more restoration work.
