Not trying to cut down Hansen but the final races were only 8 minutes long. I think he's a great rider but there are a lot more guys that can stay with Chad in an 8 minute race versus a 15+ minute race.

All social media is absolutely blowing up as a marketing tool. Every pro rider should be attached to that shit, especially since you can just update it from your phone now. Get off a moto, tweet a little something, maybe make a nice viral video, anything to keep your name out there.

I believe Villopoto has a girlfriend, so he probably doesn't J it too much, so I doubt its the same problem as you have. No smiley faces.

If Short had a good gate pick, but DNF'd the first moto, you'd be saying the same thing about the alternative system. Fact of the matter is that what happened to Short was an anomaly in the system, usually the faster riders end up in front and therefore have a good gate pick for both motos, which makes more sense...

It's at 22:12 in the video of Moto 1. That was indisputably an act of cutting the track to gain a position. Izzi MUST be penalized for that.
