Dude the supermoto versions of those things are beasts , and sound amazing with akro pipes on them. best sounding things and great to throw a leg over....the twin cylinder pulls nice through mid-top , for moto i cant imagine how they perform though, it would really be interesting to try one....
FYI: I may have missed the official PR, however, I read on the Italian MX news that 2010 has been Aprilia's last season in MX.
That sucks. They brought something new to the MX table with the twin engine design. I would've liked to see them follow through with development and make it a more reliable and competitive bike.
I hope that this isn't true about Aprilia-I don't care too much about how they worked, but there isn't a cooler looking bike in the GP paddock! Too bad they may not continue development as Coppins was able to get it to a pretty competitive level. I agree with Blake-the AMA should loosen up a little! 500 2 smokers, v twins, open bikes, whatever!
I haven't a clue...
However, I would assume Aprilla is a long way off from the PC Team/Kawasaki when it comes to SX.
As for the outdoors he could possibly do ok... top 10.
Who knows...?
